The company became a subsidiary of the American retail giant, Walmart, in 1999, and is known for its emphasis on value through both its home brand and branded goods.
Asda stores are on average, 20% bigger than that of its rivals, and each store adopts a simplistic layout.
Recently, the addition of smaller, local stores have expanded its portfolio, and online home delivery is also readily available.
