“As others have said, this hotel is right on the river with a lovely view from the bar and restaurant. Easy walk over the bridge into Bedford where there is a range of restaurants and pubs. The on site parking is plentiful and cheap at £5 per day. I stayed in suite 804 and thought it very comfortable with large comfortable corner sofabed and huge 'link' bed. The bathroom could do with an upgrade - maybe a shower rather than an old fashioned arrangment over the bath - but it was scrupulously clean. It was a hot day so the air-con unit was especially welcome. And I was pleased to get a fridge in the room, although unusally there was no ironing board and iron. The internal corridors also could do with a bit of TLC, but overall, and for the price in particular, this is a great hotel. Shout out to Max on reception who was so welcoming and happy to share tips of what to do locally (the tourist map is helpful), Aisha on the bar was great - really efficent and friendly, and thank you to Hermis who sorted out my Accor points for me within minutes of my telling him I had a problem. Actually all the staff were good with the slight exception of the breakfast staff who seemed preoccupied - they were serving breakfast in the main bar area as the usual venue was being refurbished which might be why - but they weren't terribly interested and as a result the breakfast - although with plenty of choice - was luke warm. But - overall - I have absolutely no hesitation at all in recommending this hotel should you need to visit Bedford. It's in the best location and it's remarkably good value. Enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning.”

“Excellent large car park with space for larger vehicles. Excellent reception staff member, who was very friendly and welcoming. Excellent clean room. Toby Carvery next door and a Tesco superstore around the corner. Great place to stay if visiting Bedford. Excellent road network.Food & drinks: Toby next door”

“Hotel was lovely, great location, lovely clean comfortable rooms, welcoming helpful staff in both the premier inn and Beefeater. Free car parking was great, Disabled parking too. Breakfasts were great. Highly recommend!”

“Just start with saying the hotel is very clean & the staff are very helpful. I would travel down for business and I am here regularly I have built up a good working relationship with the staff in particularly Anne-Marie.She’s helped me on so many occasions, I didn’t have a charger for my phone and Anne- Marie had gave me one of her own back, she’s lovely and she’s a valued member of staff.It’s also very close to the town centre with public transport literally across the road with local amenities within a five to ten min walk with a secure big car park.I would recommend to anyone staying.”

The staff were very understanding and professional, particularly the Manager who went an extra mile to be so gracious with ensuring that I got a lift back to Milton Keynes Central to catch my train time. The taxi service was not responsive, so she helped advise on an alternative. This intentional willingness to assist is what made my stay very special.”
