Just been in store and was served by Benn, upon packing my shopping, in which he didn't seem to have a care in the world about, he thought it was a good idea to pack soft items such as fresh fruit, crisps and cakes underneath 2 cases of canned drinks. I had stated that everything underneath would now be crushed and his response was a turn of the head and a shrug of the shoulders, so I then had to re-pack the entire bag of shopping to avoid anything being ruined!

A few years back I used to hate coming to this shop. The staff were so miserable all the time. Having just moved back to Shortstown recently I was pleasantly surprised by how genuinely nice all the staff were.Other than that, it's a shop. It's clean, tidy, and you can buy stuff there.

Insanely expensive. I have no idea why anyone would shop here, especially when there is a well-stocked and reasonably priced shop about 30 metres down the road.

I feel sorry for the staff, they are great! But our store in Shortstown is under staffed since McCalls took the shop over. One person serving queue of 6 at the Post Office and queue of 4 in the shop section. Problem with Top up machine. No store manager, as no one wants to work for peanuts. We have accepted unreasonable pricing, so at least provide us with reasonable service or sell this shop to someone who cares.
