Really poor experience here.Purchased two armchairs - £60 each! Which is quite a lot, given the quality of these chairs.Don?t get me started on the £30 delivery fee on top, to a local postcode! And to top it off, rude people working at the check out.No call either to inform customers of their arrival!I won?t bother.

It's ok, some good stuff at reasonable prices. BHF have raise prices to ridiculous amounts on a lot of things though

I generally dont give negative reviews but the customer service is so bad at this shop that I feel it is required for others who want to visit the shop. It is not one off instance but twice I felt the same.Instance 1: The shop and its owner/staff is not child friendly. When we went to buy stuff they were very rude.Instance 2: we bought some stuff from HighWycombe branch. As per their policy it can be returned to any branch like any other brand but when we went to return it the staff said we are not here to return stuff bought from other branches. We cant just keep on giving refunds like that. Also, the highwycombe branch confirmed that as per BHF policy it should have been taken at Dunstable and they apologised at least 4 times for it.If you can I will suggest visit some other branch.

If I could have given zero stars I would!?I made a booking 3 weeks ago as my auntie had passed away & she wanted her furniture to be donated to the BHF?unfortunately on the arranged day of collection Bobby the driver did not call 30mins in advance like arranged so I spoke to the manager of the BHF shop in Dunstable Maddie who was unsympathetic and unwilling to arrange another collection even though the driver was only 10mins away as once they?ve left, they can?t come back! This is disgusting service given the situation and I will never be using this company again & I would warn other people to stay away as they just don?t care about your situation & have zero customer service skills!

I have come into this store many times, mostly because I am both a charitable woman and a bargain Hunter all in one.Upon my visits I have found the staff to be very intolerant of small children bordering on rudeness. They clearly are not considerate of parents that wish to teach their children to support a good cause might need to come into such a store to acquire everyday things one cannot always afford brand new. While one is aware of certain possible dangers with small children, one would think that a store attracting customers would cater for the fact that parents are a part of this need. You would also think for a charity store that the representatives of the store would be kind, would be considerate of families and everyday people and not be so sullen and critical. Not one person with a smile on their face, no greeting or welcoming to attract customers of any kind and no assistance to try and assist you with what you might wish to acquire.Having worked in several industries, including the CANSA and research being my first ever job at 17, one would think to educate such people that their representatives are the face of the organisation wherever they might be and not to discourage potential shoppers from coming into the store. Customer service is always prided in every industry around the world and it is a shame that such a long standing charity cannot uphold the good reputation previously given hence the business I wished to give.I now know that I will no longer be visiting this establishment, but rather going to support other charitable institutions that uphold the good name that is charity.

I asked them if they wanted a dining table and dresser. They said â??Yesâ? and came to collect them. But when they arrived they declared â?? Because the dresser was vennerd MDF , they didnâ??t want itâ?. They didnâ??t want the dining table chairs because they didnâ??t carry fire regulations, due to fact being made from the early 80s. So, I would suggest give them a full description of what you have before you donate furniture.

Waited over 4 hours for them to pick up furniture, which is no fun in an empty house with a 4 year old. To be told they knocked the door 3 hours earlier and called me and took photos of the house!! Not sure why they would do that. No-one knocked the door, no missed calls. Wasted half a day. So to the tip it will go !!!

Great items for sale. All good quality, which carry a guarantee whilst supporting a great cause in the research and fight against heart disease, the causes and treatments.
