Nicest sports direct I've ever been to. Staff everywhere all very helpful, better and nicer stock than any other, just one more staff member on the tills and it would've been a 5 star, bit of a queue and only one serving for quite a while.Good show collection for a cheap price.

Not a great shopping experience, staff are not friendly and the staffs look lost them selves, the management have to improve this or even more customers just shop online, lets hope this retailer can change things round

Sports direct in Dunstable fosters an environment that advocates bullying of young staff members. The turnaround of staff is unbelievable.I have witnessed first hand the abhorrent way staff members are spoken too & mistreated.

!!ATTENTION!! Attention to the company's directors. Whoever looks after social media for Sports Direct must take action on this matter urgently. I feel it's crucial to draw your immediate attention to the unsettling behavior exhibited by Sam, an assistant manager at the store. Upon entering the store, I was taken aback by Sam's heated exchange with a colleague over the radio. Upon further inquiry, it became apparent that Sam, despite her assistant manager title, lacks not only respect but also competence and crucial managerial qualities. This conduct contradicts the culture of fostering happy and motivated staff that I passionately advocate.In subsequent conversations with several staff members, I was confronted with a disheartening array of stories detailing Sam's mistreatment of her team. The sheer volume of these accounts, all from the same day, raises serious concerns about her suitability for a managerial role. These revelations only serve to deepen my conviction that Sam embodies one of the worst examples of management I've come across.What is particularly distressing is learning, through a close family member who was formerly employed at this store, about the extent of mistreatment they endured. This brings to light fundamental questions about Sam's continued employment and the seemingly absent corrective measures. The concerning part is the apparent fear among staff to speak up against such behavior. It's profoundly troubling that individuals working diligently towards common goals are subjected to unwarranted aggression. Who, in their right mind, resorts to swearing at their staff? Who takes out aggression towards their staff? Why is she still employed by Sports Direct? Why isn?t action being taken by HR? Who does she think she is? Maybe Sports Direct needs to implement a psychometric tests during their employment process, because from what is being described, this person does not seem ok.Additionally, exploring past reviews reveals a troubling pattern of disrespectful behavior from management, hinting at a potential systemic issue. Does this represent the standard upheld by Sports Direct? The situation warrants urgent intervention from the CEO to assess and replace the leadership team at this store. Without prompt action, the company's profitability and reputation may be compromised.

5stars for awesome customer service by Blake at the Dunstable store. Knowledgeable about football boots, we tried sooo many pairs on to get the right fit & Blake was very patient & helpful with advice throughout.A happy 10 year old left the store with a new pair of boots & Blake was instrumental in preventing a meltdown.Wasn?t expecting to find 1st class customer service here - hang on to Blake if you can! He?s going places.

Went into the USC section and spent 10 minutes in the jean area. I was the only customer in that area and 2 employees were talking about who they would like to hire. The only time I interacted with them was when I asked for the changing rooms to be unlocked. They made no effort to ask if I needed any help. The only nice thing was the cashier.

Staff member Keiron was extremely helpful and patient with me while trying to find my shoe size when others have not been so kind and helpful. Keiron made the experience of trying to find my size a lot easier!

I recently purchased a pair of trainers from Sports Direct, only to discover upon receiving them that they not only didn't fit correctly but also appeared to have manufacturing defects. In response, I promptly returned the item to the store, with the expectation of receiving a full refund, as is my right under the UK Consumer Rights Act, especially when the return is made within 28 days of the purchase.To my surprise and disappointment, Sports Direct steadfastly refused to adhere to the consumer rights law, insisting on issuing a credit note instead of granting a refund. They assert that this is their long-standing company policy, which has allegedly been in practice for the last 30 years.Despite my efforts to reason with what they referred to as the "manager," the experience was marred by a distinct lack of professionalism and courtesy on their part. In the end, I was given a credit note, which, according to their terms, will be valid for two years. This approach appears to be more of a cunning business tactic than a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.It is essential that prospective customers exercise caution when contemplating purchases from Sports Direct. The business practices I encountered seem to diverge from established UK consumer protection laws, and the issuance of a two-year credit note is, at best, a dubious practice. It is my hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale, urging others to be vigilant and informed consumers when dealing with Sports Direct.(Here is the reply from Sports Direct- Hi there, thank you for contacting us. Our return policy is shown on the windows before you enter our stores as well as on the tills, this can also be found in our T&Cs online. Price tag was not correct when we're about to pay, cashier asked to pay for £34.98 instead of £24.98. Is it deceitful for customers? Load of stocks still on display.

Brilliant service from all employees, special thanks to Jacob who was brilliant with recommendations and collecting shoes for me, without losing any patience as I was taking my time. He never rushed me and was very kind and helpful.

I was struggling to find the items I was looking for in the store, to which the supervisor Jacob came and helped me straight away and knew exactly where to look and what I needed. Extremely helpful and kind, definitely made the experience less troublesome.

If I could give no stars I would asked member of staff if they do original or replica football tops, the staff member with discust on his face said whatever we have is out there I go are they original or replica he as his colleague and he said I don't know ? I just walked out
