My recent visit to Co-op Luton left much to be desired. Despite being a regular customer, I encountered a distressing lack of professionalism and empathy from the staff. I recently had a disheartening experience at Co-op Luton that left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. While patiently waiting at the till for assistance, I observed one of the staff members engaged in a casual conversation with a colleague instead of attending to their duties.When I politely requested assistance, the response I received was not only dismissive but also condescending. The staff member advised me to ?be patient in life,? implying that my time and needs were inconsequential compared to their personal conversations.To compound the issue, another staff member intervened, suggesting I use the self-checkout and emphasizing that they were ?not a robot.? This dismissal of my request for assistance, coupled with the insistence on self-service, only added to the disappointment and sense of being undervalued as a customer.This lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service standards is deeply concerning. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, especially when seeking assistance in the store. Such behavior not only reflects poorly on the individual staff members but also on the overall reputation of the store.I urge the management to take proactive measures to address these issues and ensure that all staff members prioritize customer needs and uphold the standards of professionalism expected in a retail environment.

Ordered online delivery through ubereats. Items were missing. Called the store they said to contact ubereats. Not even an apology!! Worst customer service ever. Will not use them again.

They use Just eat and I ordered and they pretended they delivered which they did not. So they stole my money. I called co-op and some guy dismissed me and told me he didnt know which driver. Really? Great operation you have going there. He told me to call just eat but of course they dont have a number. So avoid them unless you want to be stolen from.

Their Amazon delivery packages need to be more organised . They just shove all the packages on a tiny shelf and then every time they struggle to find my parcel

Placed an order on Deliveroo today of about 6 items, ended up only receiving 2 because the employees forgot to pack the rest, which was such an inconvenience. Deliveroo were unable to give me a refund because it isn't there fault if the shop itself forgets to pack the stuff. Do better co- op staff

They keep rejecting orders without providing any valid reason and acting against the setup in the application. It is also impossible to reach them via phone.Sad, because they used to be good.

Been going here for many years, still as good as forever. Great advantage for having a spacious car park. A Free CASH MACHINE also onsite.

Very clean and modern and with competitive prices. I just wish there were more variety of products, but the essentials are all there and plenty of them. There is fresh bread, sweet sand pastries every day too, which is allways tasty.

It is at a convenient location and has a wide variety of good quality products. However, the staff are hit or miss. Sometimes, staff are absolutely fine and other times they are awful. I think it is different members of staff on the various shifts. The last time I visited, there were two members of staff laughing amongst each other at the checkouts, using vulgar language. When it came to having to serve me, the girl pulled such a sour face and didn't even greet me. On my way out, I noticed that there are self-checkouts - I could have avoided all that!!!
