This is our favourite RSPB. I have been visiting here with my partner for over 20 years now, and she has been visiting since she was a little girl and we have been taking our daughter since she was a baby. We are members of the RSPB and visit here and other reserves all year round in all weathers. Hq has a bit of everything, long walks, short walks, gardens, a pond with carp, a café and a shop and toilets. I would and do often recommend Sandy RSPB to people to visit as we enjoy walking around here a lot, you don't have to be into bird watching to enjoy places like this you just have to be interested in nature and if you are I hope you'll like it too.

Toothless, or rather beakless organisation. I told them the Canada geese where I worked were exterminated. Didn't care, was case of, sort out with council. Then the council would not help. If you are a millionaire and get fed up stepping in goose poo. You are allowed to liquidate a whole population of these animals this happened few years ago but I'm still raging

An amazing RSPB reserve with a few new heathland trails to explore. The team has done a wonderful, valuable job over the years, restoring this rare habitat.

Nice country walks and shop. Would benefit greatly from a cafe and more information about birds and the work of the RSPB we couldn't find any.
