Avoid this store the staff and management are rude. I received very poor customer service trying to trade a game I bought from them. Go to CEX around the corner much better service

Context : I?m a gamer. I don?t do sports.To get to the Game area we had to walk through what felt like a maze of sports gear to get to a few shelves of games. The selection itself was decent and the prices ok but there were no obvious other gamers around and as such the atmosphere felt like a sports shop and not a game shop so we didn?t spend too long there and bought nothing as just wanted to get out.

Terrible customer services, I bought a game and returned within an hour of purchase and they offered no help or refund etc as had been opened

Staff took the time to troubleshoot my issue in regards a stick drift on my xbox controller. They checked my account and advertised they can replace as i had the extended warranty on the purchase and they will swap free of charge. Staff saved me 50 pounds. Highly recommend

Ok, not sure how much longer it will last with the increasing popularity of game downloadding, and the downfall of physical disks in gerneral, especially game disks.

We bought the new the Pokémon Legends: Arceus game for Nintendo Switch at Game (£49.99) and as I was about to leave I check the price on other retailers noticed it was between £39.99 and £42.99. I went back to the cashier at Game, and asked if they would be able to refund me or price match. I also explained that their price was significantly higher than other retailers. However, unfortunately they refused to refund me and nor did they offer me a price match. Admittedly, I could have checked the price elsewhere before purchasing it, but I trusted that they would be competitive with their prices. Based on my experience, I?d be reluctant to go back to them again, and recommend you to do your research before committing to buy anything from Game!

Purchased a Nintendo Switch on Boxing Day and called up to confirm if they were open. Spoke to someone on the phone who asked If it was a reservation or if I had already paid for it.I confirmed it was paid for and if I could come to collect. Game confirmed I could and, importantly, that they had it, and they would get it ready for me now.I arrived and was told that actually, they didn't have it, the person I spoke to was wrong and tried to fob me off and said ' he thought it was a reservation' (despite confirming with me otherwise on the phone) they couldn't refund me in store and didn't seem to give a toss about the fact I'd travelled to collect, were quite happy to look me in the face and say 'yeah sorry mate. Just a wasted journey, nothing we can do'Was then told the refund process was online which is also incorrect as the order has to be delivered to store before a refund can even be processed. So now need to wait it's delivered to the store and then need to intentionally not collect it just to get my money back. Absolutely bizarre.You would think for a £300 purchase the company would actually want your money ?Absolutely shocking service and attitude from staff in game
