Just locates at the centre of the town, we stay for 3 nights and had dinner for the Christmas eve. Lovely meals. The breakfasts are great and very tasty. The rooms are good but quite loud when the fire doors shut.Rooms: Rooms are clean and tidy and newly refurbished. Only one problem that you can hear the fireworks shut very heavily when you sleep

Popped in for food on way between London and Bristol. Squash and sweet potato tagine delicious, followed by sticky toffee pudding with icecream- also great. They add auto 10 percent service charge to bill which is cheeky as pay as you are ordering (at bar before you have tasted anything). I initially asked them to remove tip but was happy to pay on dessert as food was delicious. This was definitely for the food quality and not the table service which was pretty much non-existent. Recommend ordering your food and drinks at the bar because it will take a long time if waiting to be served at the table. They also expect you to collect your drinks from the bar. However food quality was worth the slight inconvenience.

Great hotel in hungerford rooms are good only thing was I booked a double room and got a twin otherwise very good same hotel group that owns the Jamaica inn. Stay a night you wont regret it.Nearby activities: Great for shopping for antiques and train station less than 5 minutes walk.

We visited for a meal and a drink. The bar and restaurant are lovely. Hearing thr people checking in, they have a lot of repeat stays. The staff did a really great job. When one was busy at the bar, another stopped what they were doing to serve.

Nice pub. Would not advise sitting in the pub area to eat before lunch. Very noisy to the point we had to ask a staff member to please try not throw the knives and forks around whilst cleaning for service. Sounds trivial but conversation was very difficult. Had a retort of it's my job and needs to be done. Fair enough. Would go back but only to the restaurant.Food & drinks: Very enjoyable meal.

Scaffolding all over the front of hotel and we hadn't been warned during booking.Parking not on site, also not advised at booking.Waited for too long to be booked in...seems people buying drinks come before hotel residents. No callback for room service. Left 4 messages that haven't been returned.Toilet in room dirty. This list can still go on...Rooms: Not good. Dirty toilet. Bath fills while showering. Windows so filthy that you can't tell if the sky in blue or grey...Food & drinks: No room service. Went to sleep Hungry.Shocking

Bed mattress too flimsy . Wooden slats under mattress pretty thin and seemed weak. Had to drain shower water myself as wasn't working properly. air extractor in shower room rattling slightly and kept me awake until I turned off. 'Laura' of the hotel advised me to park in six-space hotel car spot at end of Station car park (end nearest to 3 Swans) but was denied entry to this spot by angry blue Audi-owning maniac who's office/home was up some metal steps leading from space. He angrily claimed hotel has nothing to do with that parking space. Station car park free for 3 Swan hotel guests anyway so no real problem but annoying.

Pleasant stay, lovely ambiance to the hotel. Food was good and arrived quickly. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. They seemed understaffed. Also bathroom cleanliness good but not excellent.

We really like popping in for a drink, dog friendly and nice atmosphere. Ordered chicken wings (£6.95) and you get 2!!! I asked and said is this right, the waitress said yes there was no mistake! £3.50 for a breaded chicken wing from the freezer to fryer. Insane!

Popped in for a pint while passing. Good selection. Nice interior, more upmarket tea room than pub. Very comfy chairs and great service.

Visiting from Australia we needed a stop over going south to Exeter this suited us fine. Staff were vey welcoming and the menu was extensive for both dinner and breakfast. The car park was a little difficult to find.
