I have chronic health issues and this is my designated pharmacy. Almost every time I get a prescription from my doctors surgery/ specialist this pharmacy does not have my prescription in stock and I have to travel elsewhere to get my prescriptions. Sometimes I've had to walk a long distance just to get to another pharmacy and this is something I'm not up for doing when I'm ill! One of the pharmacists is also incredibly rude to me nearly every time I go in there. He is not compassionate and really unhelpful. Today I had a prescription for antibiotics & steroid medication. They didn't have the steroid medication in stock so I asked to just take the antibiotics and pick the steroids up another time. The pharmacist was so rude to me and told me I couldn't do that and would either have to go to another pharmacy or come back another day when both prescriptions were in. What good is that when I have an infection? I won't be going back to Altwood pharmacy again and am changing pharmacies.

A really great pharmacy, staff are always so friendly and efficient, our prescriptions always ready. I am so happy to have moved to Altwood Pharmacy instead of using the one nearest our surgery we used for nearly 30 years. Thank you for all the great help you give us. Highly recommend them as do so many of my friends.

Still prefer to order and collect my scrip from here. Staff always friendly and polite and the pharmacist gives good advice when asked.

Had two bad experiences here, the lady at the till gave me wrong burnt cover up to use which I had to get removed from a&e for my burnt arm! Then on another occasion I was not given professional advice/care for a meditation I had taken from a male.Please avoid at all costs will not be coming here ever again in my life, I feel pretty unlucky coming here.

Do not care about their patients at all. The lady i spoke with has no customer service skills at all! I asked politely if they could deliver my inhaler as i have to isolate due to covid and have no support or help around me whatsoever. I was told by altwood pharmacy that the driver had gone for the day even though it was 10am. I had to call my doctors for help as i was in dire need of my inhaler. It took for another lovely lady (park pharmacy by claremont) to go out of her way to pick up my inhaler from altwood and drop it to me (even though i live not even 1 minute drive away from altwood they could have dropped it to me easily themselves). Altwood Wasn't helpful whatsoever and didn't seem bothered that i could hardly breath. I was told to just wait until next Monday when the driver is back. I was lucky to have a lovely lady at claremont drop it to me in the end. Absolutely shameful just shows which company's are just in it for the ££££

In my opinion Altwood Pharmacy is the BEST pharmacy in Maidenhead! Ayad and his team provide a friendly and efficient service and always go above and beyond. They really are outstanding, nothing is ever too difficult or too much trouble and they are always ready with help and advice. Thank you Ayad and team.

I have heart problems and needed my medication asap.This pharmacy can be called anything but Pharmacy, our GP sent an email for prescription on 24th of December, the medication should be ready on the same day, but they missed it completely till they had a phone call from the GP after back and forth from our GP and this so called pharmacy,It took 6 days to get my medication and my heart was in pain all them days,Obviously those people don't care about people lives in my humble opinion.

This is undoubtedly the best pharmacy i have ever had the pleasure of using. I moved area 2 years ago, and this became my local pharmacy closest to my doctors surgery. They are speedy, efficient and always extremely helpful.

My wife and I Have been shielding throughout lockdown and Ayad, Sami and staff have been brilliant, proceesing prescriptions and delivering to our door. just found out the deliveries have been on an unpaid vountary basis. A big thank you to them all
