I went to pick up a parcel which I had been notified was at the post office. Not only did I have to wait whilst one of the staff played on his phone, but then they say they didn't have the parcel. As I explained about the confirmation message the member of staff who was playing on his phone kept interrupting in a condescending way. Maybe try to be more understanding and try not to belittle customers. This is the first and last time I will use this post office regardless of the fact I live I Cookham. Disgraceful attitude, lack of interest and rude are the only ratings I can give from first impressions.Just had an update from Parcel force, they tell me that you put the parcel back on the van, so it was delivered after all, but due to incompetence it was sent away again!! Maybe some staff training is required!!

Scam. I posted a large letter and a return item worth a significant amount. I received no receipt. The package had a FREE QR code for FREE tracking and delivery which has never been scanned. It has been over the recommended working days for the items to be sent and received. Do NOT use this post office. Was hung up on the phone when I was trying to have a conversation. I have PDF proof from my account that I paid for postage stamp on the large letter. I have also been in contact with the supplier to which the return should be heading back to.My review matches most other 1 star reviews. This seems to be a problem. I am a University student working in the area. Appalling.I have called to resolve and was hung up on and had no assistance. I am unable to come back to the branch as I am no longer working on the excavation in the area. I will continue to call until this is resolved and my items are sent and returned.

I went to the Cookham Post Office for the first time today. Kumar sorted my hideously complicated (yes, really!) Car Tax application whilst ensuring other customers continued to be served - he was calm and friendly.dealing with the long queue. Nothing was too.much trouble and his wife Madhu also works till 9pm. The shop is fully stocked food and booze. I noticed that when locals came in both Kumar and Madhu knew what they'd be wanting - makes people feel welcomed.

I have taken away my 1 STAR review which I posted for the previous owners a while ago. Thank you to the relatively new owners for me being able to visit and use my local post office again. Thank you for being friendly, helpful, polite, obliging and just generally lovely people. 5 STARS all the way!

My mother had a problem with her electric key and the gentleman in the shop was so patient and helpful to her until he had managed to sort it out!! Fabulous customer service!!

The 1-star reviews are absolutely right about this post office.Awful attitude towards customers, your parcels will not arrive using this place as they cannot be bothered to post them or are extremely picky about the weight/dimensions of the items.And if you just want to post pre-paid online letters/parcels the owner and will try and nickel & dime you by weighing pre-paid online orders on a scale which probably isn't calibrated correctly for items I've already weighed correctly beforehand to avoid this kind of argument. (i only sell one product, the weight does not change no matter how many are ordered).One review even claims the office has a sign that reads "?no rude or abrasive behaviour will tolerated?" which is rather ironic, why would you ever have to put a sign like that up? Getting a lot of complaints from angry customers obviously.I implore you to reconsider your choice of postal office and go read Fee W's 1-star review also as it was very similar to my experience.Can't wait for the snarky response.

Such a lovely and amazing people running the branch just moved into the area and very pleased and happy that I have such a lovely Postoffice near to me. Just heard what?s going on?. Seems like few locals ganging up against such a lovely post office master and his mrs might a case of another racist case but anyways I am very pleased and happy with the post office and the people who running it. I will always support local small business and will always do.A FANTASIST 5STAR FOR GIVING SUCH A LOVELY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I?m saddened to read so many negative reviews about our village post office. This has always been such an asset to our community but frankly I have no idea why the current owner wanted to take over this business in the first place. His customer service is appalling and he appears to make up the PO rules in conjunction with whether he?s on the phone or can be bothered. It seems very obvious to me that he thinks post office trade will make his main business busy. Sadly, the truth is, if the post office has to close, I doubt his wine ?snack? business will be sustainable as so many have boycotted to other branches due to him not recognising that the continuous rudeness is unacceptable. I add the one star begrudgingly.

This feedback is a culmination of many years of using my local PO so not from a once off interaction. I use the PO intermittently for parcel deliveries for bits and pieces I sell to bring in a little extra cash and has been one of the only places I have regularly ventured out to over the last two years. I wish it was a pleasant experience but I have often felt insignificant and irrelevant to the PO manager. It has really played on my mind every visit as to why I feel this way to think how I could make it better. I know I am only there to post items on the lowest rate as possible so not good business but I do leave feeling quite down following the brief interactions. I have observed similar and polar opposite treatment for other customers ahead in the queue which makes it even more confusing and feels very personal. Even to the extent of wondering if it is how I look or sound (I was not born in the UK and have a foreign accent). The last interaction this week has played on my mind the last couple of days and come to the conclusion if shared it may help. I know he probably does have terrible customers come in but please Mr PO Manager can you give the benefit of the doubt to every customer.

Wow amazing! Such cheerful environment, this shop is great! I really appreciate the chap behind the counter he?s always cheerful, helpful and informative. He?s helped me so much previously and it?s sad to see all the negative feedback just targeting the young man!I have seen it myself that it?s some selfish racist people who disrespect him and are out targeting him.I hope he?s not effected by this!!Keep up the good work!
