It needs to be known that HSBC are one of the world?s biggest funders of the fossil fuel industry. Fossil fuels are the biggest cause of the climate emergency that is robbing us and and our children of a safe future. If you care about this do not use HSBC as they will use your money to accelerate the destruction of our planet.

Try to pay cash in - cashier is at standing desk chatting to a mate for 10 mins. The 1st machine is out of order and the second one takes 8 attempts and didn't manage to take all the money. We were the only customers there and instead of trying to help we were told it's really more of a digital bank and they don't know the routine for servicing the machines so we can use the post office.

It's very easy for a bad review but I'd like to be positive, today I had a great customer service in the Newbury branch from a young lady I'd also like to name Anisa Rasul, her professional manner was top notch and so patient with all the documents and statements I needed and made me feel very welcome. This is a rarity this day and age. Hope she makes management one day. Thank you.
