The employees are a friendly bunch here, making you feel like a welcome customer. Pret menu is the usual good quality although prices seem to be creeping up higher than inflation.

Popped in for a quick lunch with a work colleague. A small salad, sandwich and two canned drinks was £18. The food was nothing special. Then I bough a slice of carrot cake. £4.10. Those prices just seem mad. I know raw costs have rocketed but I can?t see myself going in there again. The restaurant is tatty with tiles falling off the wall and just generally looking like it needs a good clean. Next time I?ll get lunch from M&S across the road. It will be better and half the price.

Lovely staff, always greet me with a warm smile. Have the Pret subscription and visit most days. Always take my own reusable cup and staff always remember just how I enjoy my coffee! Large, spacious shop with plenty of seating.The building itself is in need of a little TLC- leaks are apparent when there is heavy rain and toilets are often out of use.It?s a great shame that dogs will no longer be able to sit in from 1st April 2023.

Come here almost every day, staff are always friendly without fail, service is quick and efficient, coffee always great. Will continue to come here and hope that it stays as good as it is. Only downside is that it closes early so I can never go get my oat vanilla latte after work but other than that it?s great.

Poor coffee.. Poor manager. Close early. All good staff have left. Sometimes nobody on the tills. Cancelled my subscription based on this. Costa and Cafe Nero are doing more to attract customers. Pret in Newbury has fallen on its laurels. Needs to buck its game up.

Lovely staff but website says open til 5pm but they actually close at 4pm.They clearly don?t want anyone who actually wants a coffee after work to go there.Even closing at 5pm is early.
