Really disappointed with Hippy Bowl. Description made it sound delicious, but it was really lacking in flavour. I wanted to add balsamic syrup, lime juice, or garlic Mayo, just SOMETHING to zing it up, but lost the Will. Good job the hummus dip starter was tasteY.Disappointing over all, because last visit had enjoyed my choice and had been looking forward to it

Great spot, lovely staff. Not sure what's going on with the booking website as both times we've booked online and the reservation hasn't been there, but both times they've been really accommodating and found us a great table anyway. Really great food and dog friendly!Our friends were vegans and they had a huge selection for them too including vegan versions of the meat meals which was really great for them not feeling excluded from the party.

We ate here on Christmas eve travelling from Ireland and our waitress was so lovely. Super friendly and chatty and even made a cocktail for is which she said was her first time doing so since it was quiet. Was spot on! Would absolutely come back again. Nice atmosphere, nice food and above all nice staff.

Very nice atmosphere with full range menu between Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch and Dinner. Food was also nice and well presented. Staff are friendly and helpful. Better to reserve before hopping in.

I always really liked it here and I am coming back again and again but I?ve been twice in the last days and the service has gotten worst. I haven?t found the same friendly faces and attitude, rather than a superficial and maybe they are overworked because Bill?s is quite busy, especially this time of the year but still. They could hire more people if that?s the cause of their unfriendliness or they could have their people trained?

We went for a brunch pre-xmas panto. The menu has been overhauled and the place was buzzing. Service was friendly and quick and the food and drinks were excellent. Highly recommend the pancake

On our way to Reading Minster we stopped at Bill?s as a group of 8. All ate different mains but everybody satisfied. I ate Chicken Swarma which I really enjoyed. Service good and even though it was very busy everyone seemed very happy ?

Amazing food and interior. The staff is friendly. It is spacious as well. My food made me sick ? a bit. It is not the cooking or the quality of the ingredients but the recipe, which paradoxically I love it: it looks good, it tastes good. I would not change it. Be mindful that if it happens it?s the blend of mayo with avocado at breakfast.

We hadn't been to Bills in Reading for a while when we opted to drop in for brunch. The service was just the right amount of friendly and perfectly efficient. The food was well-presented, delicious and reasonably-priced. We won't leave it too long before we return next time.

Never really fancied Bills but tried it last night and it was excellent. Really nice food, nice staff and lovely decor.We will definitely return and recommend.The only slight hitch was that the menu dinner options were a little limited.A+ otherwise.

Food is nice and well presented. The atmosphere and decor is quite pleasant also.One criticism is the pancakes did not come with enough syrup though, and incurred extra charge for more. Overall good experience though.
