Very hard to get through on the phone. Also they are not good at record keeping - when I moved house six months ago I asked them to update the address for my contact lens delivery. I found out today that they still have my old address on their records. No apology when they realised their error.

Rubbish opticains service, never answer the phone, they make all the promises and never deliver. I waited 3 weeks for my records to be transferred to this branch and still haven't heard from this incompetent lot. DO NOT USE THEM, NOT TO BE TRUSTED

Never on time or have contacts delivered in store the time they tell the customer.
At my last contacts appointment I was waiting for 15 minutes in the waiting area while 5 member of the opticians staff gathered around the tills to have a catch up. Following that appointment I ordered contacts, they did not arrive in time before I moved to go back to uni. Luckily they told me they could be delivered to my uni boots opticians however, 2 weeks later, my contacts have been paid for but no where to be seen and the manager of the Reading branch apparently knows nothing about the situation. That's always fun.
I've had similar experiences with boots opticians in the past where I have been in the opticians for over an hour or where my contacts have never been in at the date given. When I signed up for the lens scheme my contacts were delivered weeks late. Really unprofessional and exhausting spending the majority of my free time waiting on the boots opticians staff to get their act together.
