Evri return for Amazon: Rude and did not want to pack item.
April 2023 by Sarah H
I went to purchase several books of postage stamps and was very surprised to be charged significantly more than the actual cost of the stamps as per Royal Mail pricing (this was before the April price hike). I was charged almost 25% higher than the usual cost of a book of stamps. Upon questioning the price I was told "we can charge what we like" which suprised me. Instead I went to a nearby supermarket and bought my stamps and other items there. Buyers beware!

Went in after school to get a drink?received the WORST customer service and was publicly embarrassed. Was asked to ?hurry up? within 3 minutes of entering. Then as went to check out, cashier man rolled eyes at me, TWICE, and scoffed as if some wild animal. Overpriced and waste of time and money.

Went to return a packet to Amazon (UPS Collection point) and buy some bits. Young guy behind the counter couldn't care less - wouldn't stop fiddling with his phone, barely standing up to look at me - clearly I was interrupting his morning.Left the shop without completing either - despite being local to me, I wont be retuning - rather go to Waitrose down the road where they understand Customer Service

Packed with stock, and plenty of choice. But I can't understand the petty penny-pinching of splitting up multi-packs of ice creams and selling them singly for the full retail price of individual ice creams. Is the margin too low on ice creams? Also, these ice creams only carry the warning "not to be sold separately". Thus, the allergen information is missing as is the best-before date. I think this contravenes trading standards, which is quite a risk for the sake of making a few more pennies. It is a shame to see such an underhanded approach to retail sales.

Use to be good when it first opened and had the owner Harry running it. Now itâ??s below average. Man regularly on the phone while customers wait, fridges are either off or on very low and all round poor customer service. Trading standards visit could be on the horizon.
