Would like to provide feedback regarding delivery. Whilst we are happy so far with our new sofa, we were disappointed that the delivery men did not bother to screw the feet on properly. We had to complete the job ourselves and this is despite a massive £99 delivery charge! Never had to pay such a hefty price for a delivery before and expected at least the feet would be left securely fitted. Be warned.

Last week, I popped into Reading DFS not expecting to purchase a sofa straight away. I was impressed by the lovely selection, compared to other stores nearby. I recieved a lovely and proffesional service by John and found the perfect sofa for my new home. John explained all very clearly and in a great time. Many thanks ?

We popped into Dfs Reading to get a new sofa for our new home after having a terrible experience with Daals.The selection was impressive and after finding the sofa we wanted we were approached by Jonathan to purchase it.Jonathan was friendly, polite, professional and very knowledgeable. He put us at ease right away and not pushy at all.The whole experience was fantastic!!

Had a very poor experience here. Would not recommend to anyone. I wish we had read the reviews before we put an order in with dfs. Never again. We have experienced much the same as other reviewers.Unacceptable delays, lack of information or misinformation and most worryingly rudeness/arrogance from one particular member of staff (although to be fair, all others appeared polite and knowledgeable).Save yourself a load of trouble, go elsewhere.

DFS is a well-known furniture retailer in the UK, and their store in Reading is no exception. The store is large and well-stocked, with a wide variety of sofas, beds, dining tables, and other furniture to choose from. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they are happy to answer any questions you may have.I recently visited the DFS store in Reading to buy a new sofa. I was looking for a comfortable sofa that would be perfect for relaxing after a long day. I was impressed by the selection of sofas at DFS, I did quite find a sofa that I liked but was still impressed with the selection.The staff at DFS were very helpful. They took the time to understand my needs and show me a variety of sofas that would be a good fit. Store sales person was fine, although mix up with order leaving us with no furniture for several days, promised 72 hours for loan furniture, 7 days and waiting, no contact from anyone until I complained, at head office, not very good after sales from store

Bought a Zinc sofa several weeks ago, the delivery drivers cut the sofa. We called customer services over 10 times, managers refused to call us and contact us about the cut. We wanted a replacement because the Reading DFS advised us that the repairs will not be good (because customers have complained about the fabrics being different) . We finally spoke to the Slough manager who said we have no choice but to go with the repair.If we are unhappy with the repair we can't complain either according to the Slough manager.Complete lack of communication, unable to refund, unable to replace. Took nearly 3 weeks for the Slough manager to call after raising several tickets with customer service and the managers from Reading contracting them!If I could I would give 0 stars. AWFUL service and awfully rude Slough manager.

I bought a sofa yesterday from a sales rep called Josh Ward and I feel compelled to write a review as he was extremely caring, professional and helpful.Josh went out of his way to explain the policy, the design and spec of the furniture and all my options as a first time buyer from DFS Reading.....His manor was warm, friendly, clear and he was super knowledgeable. We felt like he cared about what he was selling and understood our needs he was very attentive and approachable with a great sense of humour..... A very enjoyable experience!

Fuming is an understatement!! Was advised very specifically that the ex display sofa I purchased on a Saturday will be removed from the shop floor on the Monday then delivered within two weeks. Two and a half weeks later and my sofa is STILL ON THE SHOP FLOOR for people to sit on, kids to rub their grubby hands on. Requested an explanation and I'm just told 'we can't remove it until 22nd, that would have been explained' let me make it very clear, this was not explained to me in any way, my friend was with me and she heard the exact same I did. I do not appreciate being called a liar and I do not expect to pay for something for it be held in store for nearly a month. Not even had an apology. Appauling customer service. I was told a manager would call me but they clearly don't know how to deal with the public because I had a call from the salesman and nothing from the manager.

Credit where credit is due , I was served today by Mohammed at the Forbury Retail Branch and found his customer service was 100%. Nothing was too much trouble as we was going through my purchase of a new sofa..I found Mohammed to be friendly and ver approachable ?Mohammed you are a credit to DFS well done you ?
