Cycle department is a joke nobody ever there so have to go online .Website recomended wheel bearings for my carrera so ordered 2 of same type. Halfords decided i need to have 2 completely different ones so i cancelled order and got correct parts from amazon.

I'm partially disabled, I went into your branch on Oxford Road, Reading when I needed for help to find the right types of oil for two cars, a member of staff approached named Stan and asked how he could help, not only did he sort out the correct oils I needed, but straight away asked if he could help by carrying these bottles for me, very polite, efficient, and very helpful.I don't usually wright these reviews, but was a refreshing change today.So well done Halfords, I only wish thier was more Stan's in this world.Many thanks,Wayne Nobbs.

I ordered a battery via the internet with fitting included. The ordering process was simple. I turned up to my chosen store, showed them my receipt and within a few minutes a man turned up with the battery and the tools to fit it. I watched the fitting (I've always done my own fitting in the past) and was impressed with how it was done. I would recommend this service to anybody who doesn't feel able to do it themself.

There should be a 0 star option specifically for made for Halfords. Two weeks ago, they advised me to purchase THE WRONG coolant, and pour it in top up my existing coolant, during the ?10 point check?, this had obviously caused damage, but nevertheless I managed to change it.TODAY, I had my MOT and they BROKE my passenger headlight while they were trying to adjust it ? and they failed me. Now i have to deal with the headlight by myself as they will advise to purchase one of their headlights, which will obviously be defected.

Danny was amazing. He gave me honest, credible, advice on my options, and helped me to sortvarious issues. This is the only Halfords store I will use now, specifically because of him.

Not very friendly customer service, they seem to not know what they are doing when asked for a simple battery check walked out of the store didn?t feel comfortable staying

Great service from the staff in Reading store. Good top box. Easy to fit. Lock and clamps look more flimsy that the Thule box I bought about 20 years ago. Perfect fit for Skoda Kamiq

I had to go here 3 times today as I need to pump up the wheels of my bike. I don't know much about bikes, so the first time, I bought the wrong thing. The second time I brought my front wheel to make sure I got the right thing. Guy there offered to pump it up. It ended up exploding in my car since he pumped it up way too much and I didn't know.Went back 3rd time, he didn't give any discount for the inner tube that I had to buy.They will ruin your bike.Don't go here.

Dan in Reading Halford, who provided the service, is excellent! He explained me everything including the bulbs, wipers, car check and Halford Club, in very detail. I have hearing impairment with communication difficulties. He?s still patient and repeat it. I am happy to go there again.

I had a problem with my 2 kids bikes. Halfords didn't start off great and communication was very appalling, but then a very nice Lady named NAOMI took the reins in her hands and delivered FANTASTIC SERVICE and kept me up 2 date with all the developments and helped me with the best and most satisfying outcomes of replacements of the products. I hope halfords realise the value of NAOMI as she is a MASSIVE CREDIT to halfords, she's very kind, professional polite and going out of her way to help people out. Members of staff like NAOMI should always be given the TOP CREDIT they deserve. Once again from the bottom of my heart, NAOMI thank you so much for all your help ?? ??

Just had my car battery replaced. I opted for the battery to be fitted by Halfords and was very impressed by the excellent service. Thank you, it was much appreciated.

Click and collect, complete farce, would have been quicker to walk there and take the "in stock" battery off of the shelf. Got fed up with waiting after 4 hrs and went in (no mail or text confirmation) was offered 2 batteries neither of which were what I ordered. Won't be using click and collect again

Went to replace a ratchet from my socket set today as it was broken, it has life time warranty. They said I will have to wait 2 weeks for a replacement to be ordered but had plenty in stock so I don't really understand why I would have to wait. Normally I wouldn't mind this but I needed the tool tomorrow to carry on with job it was ment to carry out! If I was a full time mechanic I would stay well away from these tools.Staff are OK in this store and I take it the bloke just go's by mangers rules.
