I recently visited Leighton for an eye test and new glasses. The team were wonderful and Albert in particular went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with my final glasses. He gave me lots of time and his attention to detail was amazing. He fully understood what I was looking for and went out of his way to achieve this for me. I would absolutely recommend Leightons for all your optical needs!

I had a really professional service when I had an eye appointment today. The comprehensive checks and thorough examination led to a prescription for new lenses for my current frames. I look forward to getting these in the next few days. All the staff were professional and courteous. I am glad I came to Leightons over two years ago after a long time with other opticians. On a visit last year, a retinal tear was found and I was able to get this swiftly dealt with at the hospital. Thank you Leightons, for all you have done and are doing for me.

The service from the Woodley branch was really good. The examining Optometrist was thorough and informative about different aspects of eye health and the dispensing team were very helpful in sorting out an issue with my current glasses.

Funny I should receive this after the obtuse attitude shown to me from your manager when I needed assistance from the Woodley branch a couple of weeks ago.Considering whether we continue using Leightons going forward and if we do we may decide to use another branch.Be interesting to see if anyone gets back to me following this post as this latest incident has been marked accordingly. The customer may not always be right, but there are more polite ways of dealing with them.

The staff are very polite. But, I am fed up being asked to wear a mask. Covid is not going away. It isn't the threat it once was. I don't have to wear one in a shop so I don't see why I have to wear one in Leightons. It puts me off going back.Also, minor adjustment on my glasses which dig in - book an appointment. Shop is empty, but book an appointment! so they offer weekday mornings. I tell them I am working and can't make that appointment so they offer another day at a similar time. Can't make that, I am working!!

I have regular 6 monthly eye examinations and the team at Leightons in Woodley are always professional and very pleasant and friendly. Everything is explained well and advice given if needed.

Disappointed in having to make an appointment each and every time my specs need adjusting which only takes approx 5 mins, nevertheless they require a quarter of an hour appointment to carry out these small adjustments. I have been wearing specs for the past 30/40 years and have always managed to pop into the many opticians I have used who will undertake these minor modifications straight away so why can't Leightons be more accommodating.

Long wait for my appointment in spite of being firmly told to be on time. I asked the receptionist how long I would have to wait and why no one was acknowledging a 30 minute delay. She was not very helpful and not happy I had asked. The optician was very good and thorough which I appreciated. When I came out with my new prescription I asked the e receptionist which of the frames on display around the shop were for women and got a very rude and unhelpful answer which shocked not only me but also one of her colleagues. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere and purchased new glasses at a rival company. Shame but there it is.

Thorough eye test. However I wasn?t given my prescription afterwards and I didn?t realise I could use this prescription to go elsewhere to purchase glasses somewhere cheaper. Was very disappointed in the high price of glasses in this shop.
