Avoid if you want your furniture to arrive in a timely manner and do not want your home damaged during delivery. I made an order on the 18th Nov 2023. Even though a 7 day delivery was offered 28th Dec. some of my order was delivered but a bedside cabinet was missing. I was offered a delivery date of 28th February (3 months after my order). I received a call from the delivery driver saying that he was at my house. I drove home and the driver had left and wouldn?t take my call. Also, on delivery of the part of my order which did arrive the delivery team broke a door handle off my front door. No apology or offer to fix.

Staff Will say anything you want to hear to get the sale.Promised me my sofa would arrive in 3 sections because a long 3 seater wouldn?t maneuver into my 1st floor flat living room.I made it very clear to the salesman that it can not fit in one piece. He looked me in the eye and promised me it comes in sections.A full sized 3 seater will NO WAY fit through and around my doorways because Iv tried and failed. I know this for a fact so I was being deadly serious with the salesmen when I was telling him.Did it come on 3 sections??? No!!! And the delivery driver said that the customer is always told the sofa comes in sections and that they go through the confusion all the time.We also got 2 delivery men that clearly did not want to do their job, making me feel like it was my fault the store lied to me about how big the delivery would be, saying how it was going to be soooo dangerous to lift the sofa up 1 flight of stairs. They then wanted me to sign a disclaimer stating any damage was not their fault meaning they could drag, drop and treat the sofa how ever they want basically which I did not sign!Anyway ,I was stronger than both of those delivery guys put together!!! One of them dropped my sofa as he was coming down the very first flipping step to the entrance of my building. He had only just picked the thing up and then proper dropped it on its corner on the muddy grass at the edge of the path. I then realized what I was dealing with and then I took control of my own delivery to get it up those stairs in one decent piece. I had to go one end of the sofa and the 2 unfit delivery men struggled together on the other end.Very very luckily the backs were not attached to the sofa properly so the sofa was able to get around the doorways into my living room.Eventually we got the thing in the room with only a little hole in the back corner which isn?t visible but it could of been a lot worse if I wasn?t there and if I?d signed that disclaimer.The salesmen in this store do not care what you say or need they just give you the answers you need to get you on board , you can?t trust what they say.Never again!!!!

Unreliable Delivery Service and Poor Customer Experience at Reading Retail Park Furniture ShopI am deeply disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at the Reading Retail Park Furniture Shop. The staff, although initially overenthusiastic and seemingly helpful during our purchase, failed to follow through with their promises regarding delivery and assembly.Despite opting for a premium delivery service and having a clear agreement about the delivery date, the shop failed to deliver on its promise. On the day of delivery, we received a message stating that they were missing parts of the bed and would not be able to deliver or assemble it as promised. This lack of foresight and organization on their part has left us in a difficult predicament, forcing us to sleep on a mattress on the floor. This is particularly inconvenient as we have guests arriving soon.What frustrates me the most is the shop's apparent lack of integrity. If they were unable to guarantee delivery on the agreed date, they should not have taken our order, let alone convince us about the delivery dates. This experience has not only caused us discomfort but also a loss of trust in the shop's services.In conclusion, the Oak Furnitureland Shop needs to significantly improve their delivery and customer service. Customers should be able to trust that the shop will deliver on its promises, especially when it comes to premium services. As it stands, I would hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone due to the unreliable service and the inconvenience caused.

Excellent staff. Massive thank you to Isfar in particular who went over and above for us.Was genuinely surprised how comfortable the sofas were compared to other big brands.

Good sized shop and they have some nice affordable furniture which you can addord.Onlt downside was some of the draws do not go back the full depth of the units.The romsay range that we bought has a nice finish and looks great at home.

I have to make it clear that this review is about Oak furniture land as a whole rather than just the staff here. We went in to purchase 6 dining room chairs we had seen previously and the staff were attentive, though, as is usual in furniture stores, they hung around constantly asking you if you needed assistance. But overall helpful. However when the chairs were delivered one of them was damaged and had a large chip of wood missing. We contacted the company, explained the issue,sent some photos and arranged for a new chair to be sent. We were told a delivery date and I arranged to stay at home and accept it. Late in the day we had a call to say it hadn?t been put on the van so waited in for nothing! A new date was arranged and the chair was delivered but that was damaged too! Contacted them again and arranged for yet another chair which arrived today. Box was put into our hallway and the driver refused to check the condition of the chair. Once they left we opened the box and found two chairs! We contacted the company to let them know their error and to arrange them to collect the spare next Friday. They then had the cheek to say that if we weren?t there when they arrived they would fine us! We made it very clear that we were trying to rectify their error but the rep made no apology. All this has been happening whilst my Mother also ordered furniture from them, had delayed deliveries and then some of it turned up very poorly made. We will never use this company again.

Really good store layout. Great to get an idea of items in person. Richard Burton in store was helpful and friendly, gave us some great tips as we walked around but also some space to enjoy browsing!

I wouldn't buy from this shop primarily the fact I was getting hounded walking round the store one of your staff was just following me and my daughter constantly not asking if we needed help just following us around very odd my daughter is only 3 and half and she said she felt scared and not at all what I would expect you definitely missed out on a big sale as we was interested in the products never mind think your staff need some training.

AVOID! Shambles. Ordered a sofa and was advised that it would be delivered in a months time. It has been delayed 3 times, I have paid and have nothing to show for it!Customer service is non existent - I have called and emailed constantly. Every phone call is on hold for at least an hour. I would avoid at all costs.Update: Sofa was delivered at 4th time of asking. But the delivery men didn?t attempt to get it through the front door so we did it ourself. Really is laughable!
