One of my customers went to this place and himself and 3 other people now have awful vision. Worse than what they went in with. My opinion do not use these people as my customer has to now get a taxi to me as he can not drive

I?ve had lasek (13 years ago) lens replacement in 2021 and a top up lasik in late 2022, all my surgeries were spot on, no complaints, all of my after care has been brilliant with the optometrist & I have seen the same person most of the time so she knows my history, but the appointment booking system for anything longer than a month in advance is an absolute joke, so archaic it?s 2023 not 1923, 3 times now I?ve booked appointments over the phone to the branch two months after a check up to arrange the next one, logged the date & time into my phone diary alerts, not received a confirmation email as promised, turned up and had a wasted journey, parking fee & lost time at work, rebooked there and then without getting an instant email confirmation because it?s got to be filled out on a form first! 1 hour after the messed up appointment still no confirmation email. I?m no tech but how long does it take?

I was told that my eyes are qualified for lasik by Optical Express so I went through the surgery last year on 21st January 2022. The team did good care throughout the procedure. I also went back quite a few times due to uncomfortable feeling in both my eyes and they checked both of my eyes carefully but they never found any issues.For anyone who would like to go through lasik, please bear in mind that you can have uncomfortable feelings after surgery which I had for 8 months. Then I started having flashes from after 3 months of surgery. I went back again and again to Optical Express as I was very concerned but nothing was found by them. Finally I was referred to NHS emergency due to my panicking situation. I went couple times for check up too. The last consultant that I had interacted with in Feb 2023, told me that he can see that the weaknesses are there in both of my eyes and there have been some detachedment which he can see on the top of the retina. This had happened due to too much pressure that my eyes had during the surgery. I was advised that I need to run to eye casualty in case of many floaters or flashes. I regret now having this surgery done as I would probably have to worry for the rest of my life if I face any bigger consequences. The money that I spent for lasik was just a waste and I have now bigger worry in life.For some people lasik worked out well but it didn't in my case unfortunately. Yes, I have put the review quite late as I was not sure about what was causing flashes in my eyes. Hope this helps for some.

Just turned up too appointment, and get told running a hour and half behind with minimal space to sit, not happy at all waste my day and my drivers Day. Did not even call to tell me avoid

I arrived fifteen minutes late yet they treated me with a gentle sense of humour, the first person who met me chuckled politely? when I gave him nothing but lame jokes to cover my tardiness.Then I met Kash who was again polite but I sensed genuinely interested, efficient and thoughtful as she took my details and administered tests - on my eyes.The next person, an Optometrist was much the same but slightly taller.They seemed busy, I had a little wait, then had a further assessment/test of my glaucoma...then more waiting - which was no hardship as I watched the Tv... the end of Loose Women' and the beginning of The Real Deal'. which was a real treat as we don't have Tv. at home.All in all they were all very nice and oozed care and professionalism. They left me with the literature and a projected bill - not as cheap as chips but the Optimax rate. I was not left in the dark.

I had laser eye surgery approximately 13 years and I have never been happier than when I had it done. I would recommend Optical Express again and again, the staff are true professionals with expertise. I wish the staff all the very best. Kind Regards Adrienne Roberts

Friendly, professional service. I was hoping to be eligible for lens replacement and the available options and subsequent procedures were fully explained. Questions were invited throughout. Very satisfied.

Absolutely awful!The website and Google says the clinic is open 6 days a week till 5:30pm, except Sundays.Today is Thursday and i called the Clinic in the afternoon to assure they are open till 5:30pm. Person on the phone confirmed they are open till 5:30pm.I drove 35-40miles, during my work hours to the Clinic, just to find out that it was closed. Rang the bell multiple times but no one opened! Absolutely gutted! Called Head office and raised a complaint. Francis from the Head Office told me that they are closed on Fridays too but on the website it says they are open on Fridays till 5:30pm!This clinic looks like they are incompetent to run a clinic, I wonder how irresponsible and liable they are with their patients!

A fantastic service from beginning to end.I have just been discharged after my LASEK surgery and I couldn?t be happier!The staff are friendly, helpful and make you feel relaxed.I?m so glad I finally decided to have laser eye surgery and cannot recommend Opticial Express Reading highly enough!Thank you for everything.

My complaint has already been raised with head office but just want to deter anyone from visiting this clinic as its a shambles. Terrible customer service, long waiting times, unprofessional staff and no consideration for patients with anxiety. After having a traumatic experience here I waited a few weeks and visited the Milton Keynes clinic which was amazing and I highly recommend!

I am so happy and impressed with the optical express service and team. Everything from the beginning to end was never rushed and I never felt pressured to do anything. I always felt at ease and was given all the options available and had all my questions answered. Casper and another receptionist (I?m sorry I forgot his name) were both so welcoming and helped me to feel settled at each appointment especially on the day of surgery. The actual surgery was very calm and quick and the after care explained well.I couldn?t be happier and do agree with the brochure that I should have done this much earlier.Thank you optical express team for helping to change my life ?

The staff were extremely polite and professional. I had initially visited for a LASIK consultation and procedure.On a stroke of bad luck, I had an eye infection which meant my treatment had to be postponed for 2 months.During this time I was able to regularly visit the clinic and get treatment and attention for my eye infection. The staff were extremely supportive.Now 1 month on my vision is clear and I am grateful that my experience was as a good as it was in spite of my bad luck!Cheers team.

I dont recommend the place and staff.I ve been there to check if am I eligible for laser surgery. They gave me the eye drops and since than my vision got worst(i had perfect vision on my left eye) . When I told them about ithe problem. They have said it is because of age that my vision in 1day became worst. Now my previos perfect vision eye is short sight and i have to wear correction glasses.Idiots!
