I had been recommended many London salons to get my Balayage touched up. I?m sure they?re all fabulous but I?m reasonably lazy and wanted something close by :) Love going to the Strand (on my third visit now in the past two years) no one over pitches, over sells or over criticises. They know their job, they?re friendly, have a good chat (not a little not a lot) and you come back feeling good. Pretty much all you need when you?re going for maintenance and not a change. Love it.

I went for my first ever professional haircut today at the strand and it was incredible. They were so lovely and Robyn did an incredible job transforming my hair. She was very kind and such a joy to chat too, said such nice things and made me feel beautiful. The finished hair cut was amazing and the hair wash at the beginning was very relaxing!! Would definitely recommend this place as they provide a wonderful experience.Thank you Robyn!!

This was my first time getting my hair cut here. At first I was really nervous since going from long to really short hair is a big change for me, and I wanted it to be perfect. I showed Michelle what I wanted and I told her how I felt about the haircut. She reassured me and told me she would do it step by step so I could see how it looked at each stage and if I wanted to change my mind about the length. I ended up with my hair slightly longer in the style I wanted which better suited my face shape, and it was the best choice! Michelle offered her opinions without pushing me to change my mind, and she was lovely to talk to! However, at the beginning when I was having my hair washed by one of the younger hairdressers (I assume she was an apprentice?) the scrubbing was a bit aggressive, pushing my head up and down. It also would have been relaxing when she massaged my scalp but ended up pulling my hair too hard. Regardless, she was very nice and offered me refreshments, and I?m happy to say I will definitely return again!Services: Bang trim

Have had good experiences previously here but unfortunately the service recently was very poor. The standard of the cut and finish was far below previous visits sadly. The staff are really friendly, maybe this was an off day.

I was looking for a hairdresser for my teenage daughter just before New Year and Andrew managed to get to see her in the same day.Professional and kind, he made sure that my daughter is happy with her hair cut and beautifully styled .A Big thank you Andrew .I warmly recommend and will come back to this place as all the staff are kind,helpful and most important very skilled .
