Don't accept cash, which is a load of nonsense. No warning notice either and I only have a foreign card so incur forex charges. Not acceptable. Won't be back. Oh and its only 18h00 and the kitchen is closed but they're open until 22h30

A lovely atmospheric pub right at Reading station. We ate there on a weeknight. It seemed clean with a simple menu, we had haddock and chips. Friendly staff. We ate inside but there are outdoor areas overlooking the plaza linking the railway stations two entrances.

I had a few hours to kill and went into this pub. I had a lovely welcome and sat at a table watching the big screen. I do use a wheelchair and asked if I could use the disabled facilities. The lady behind the bar got the keys and showed me the way. The toilet room was large and super clean. Very impressed. I will certainly call again

We had a long wait early in the morning at Swindon Station so popped in here for a coffee. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable and the staff very welcoming. It was so good that we ordered breakfast. The "Full English" was the best I have had for quite some time. Thank you all.

I had a terrine for starter Main was Roast pork belly with some delicious roast potatoes and Christmas pudding with brandy ice cream as dessert. Food was great and perfect timing. The staff and the service was great. Appreciate the speedy and warm environment.

If you have time before going on the train then you should try this place. It looks amazing inside and the staff are very friendly and very good too. If you love gin then that is a very good place to go , because of the variety of choice on their menu. I would recommend this place too.

Ordered a plate of nachos and it came with beef chilli on it. I am vegetarian. They insisted they had asked if I wanted beef and I said yes. To be honest , even if I had made a mistake and not paid attention, it wasn't handled well. They insisted we had to pay for another (with vegan chilli even though I just wanted plain). In the end we had what came and I picked at a few that at the side that hadn't touched the beef. Awful. Left quickly after that and even asked for them to take away, as didn't want to spend any more money there on drinks. Won't be coming back.

Waiting for our train having allowed more time than we (in the end) needed and this pub is right there in the station The Seafarer ale went down very well after a week in Dubrovnik - Croatian beers are good but it was good to taste our national drink. Good old English Fish and Chips finished the job - very well cooked and served hot with good tartare. Seem understaffed so our waitress was not as avaialbale as we'd have liked.

Fantastic staff that welcome us in all arms. People in the pub are also kind and welcoming. I ordered the Crispy Squid, Chalcroft Burger and Molasses date and hobs sticky toffee pudding; all tasted amazing and I enjoyed throughly. The service is great and they don?t duck about. My only complaint is my burger was slightly cold but where ever you go the burger is always cold. Come here if you want a range of different largers and sweet food with mates or on a date.

The staff and the service was efficient, wasn't waiting around for food or a pint. Appreciate the speedy and warm environment. Will use this bar for any quick stops.

Opted for something to eat here and a pint. Staff polite and the interior is welcoming and warm. I ordered Lincolnshire Sausages and mash and had a pint which came to a pence short of £20 which I thought was a bit expensive. Due to the price I am giving this an average rating. I appreciate this is not Wetherspoons but if the price was a little cheaper I'd have rated it very good.
