Hello Halfords. You?re not just bad?you?re literally terrible. Horrible experience today. I had a booking today, for two front tyres fit at 1pm. Got there at 1230, told to the nice chap that i am not in a rush?pretty easy job?.I?ll be in the nearby gym. As I entered the reception there was this other customer shouting at the nice chap behind the desk. Full on abusive shouting. He then turns to me and shouting tells me to get my car and run as far as i can as they are proper rubbish. (Not in those words) I didn?t said anything and i carried on towards the desk where the guy was trying to look professional and emotionally recover from the rubbish he had to deal with before. Gave him my reg number, keys and locking nut, told him what i need. Booking accepted. All good. Left for the gym. Now at 230pm I come back thinking that tyres were changed all good, my car in the same spot where I?ve left it, no tyres changed. Mmkay, I go back inside, the same nice chap tells me that my car it?s next shouldn?t take long, bla bla. I am waiting patiently on the sofa. Now it?s 3pm. The two tyres not fitted, i go to the guy behind the desk and I?m asking as calmly and as non confrontational as i could for my keys, my locking nut, and a full refund including the £2 booking fee. So 2 and a half hours and no service. But Halfords is dying to book you in and charge you £2 for the privilege to be dealt with at a certain time slot. No. You?re wrong. And horrible. As the guy was processing the cancellation, his voice was gone and his finger was literally trembling on the mouse. I feel sorry for him it is not his fault. People shouldn?t go through this. Mate, run as far as you can from Halfords. There are better car garages out there paying more. You shouldn?t be shouted at. You shouldn?t have full anxiety attacks at hands of any moron customers. Halfords you are horrible. **** you man. **** you for doing this to people. Your booking system is ****. Last time my partner was there they took them 3 hours for 4 tyre change. Absolutely unacceptable. You?re understaffed. Your sistem is crap. There were about 10-15 cars waiting outside. I couldn?t count more than 3 people in the whole garage. Trading Standards authority should be all over these practises. Hope you close down and people get a chance to get their cars dealt with and your staff better jobs and the respect they deserve. My heart goes to the poor guy?

Thanks Chantelle. Trev is the finest example of Customer service excellence. Really impressed with his attitude, proactive problem solving and abilities. He resolved an issue with my tyres and made Halfords Autocentre look incredible in doing so. Totally recommend

Had my tyres fitted to my Audi today, I have to say I received excellent service from Keith and his colleague on the front desk and the chap who fitted the tyres.Would use them again in the future.

Booked in an MOT and service months ago. Called to confirm time and date 4 days before appointment. When I got there they hadn't booked me in at all, and didn't even try and make things right. Very unprofessional, will never use again

Shocking to deal with?. Would never recommend them to anyone?. Sandhurst tyres and MOT which is just round the corner and by far a much more professional and decent company??. Sorry Halfords but you are shocking!

Booked my car in for a MOT. They called to say it was all done and had passed and was ready to collect.When I got there they told me it had actually failed, and that they wouldn?t be able to fix it for a week and would cost me £600.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Quick, friendly and efficient MOT. The team are welcoming and a good laugh. The building/reception needs some TLC but that takes little away from the good lads doing a solid service there.

Booked my car in for service and MOT Keith on reception greeted me very politely and called me when job was finished he explained the invoice and explained jobs that will need doing at no point did he try to push the sale of the item very friendly polite man that did not talk down to me as a woman like some other garages do I would recommend them to all my friends only down side building looks rundown and reception floor needs fixing in placesService: General repairs & maintenance

Have put my car in 3 times here in last month to fix several problems that I had been neglecting?Owner is very friendly, good customer service.Easy to book in, and good availability to accommodate an awkward schedule on my part.Work was done quickly, and communication is great.Would definitely book in here again.

Booked online to get my tracking sorted. Turn up on the day and told it was cancelled. No one was available to look at it and was told I would have to return 2 days later.Very inconvenient as it takes time to arrange time for the car to be out of use as being a family car we are always needing it.Keith on reception was very helpful tbh. He was nice but I wouldn't use this Centre again as I would never trust that my work will be carried out on the day I expect it to be done on.It was sorted out two days later.There is a waiting area but it's very worn.
