Sometimes, one gets the impression that there are wolves in human form, and unfortunately, this sentiment is exemplified by the Vision Express Slough branch. This is probably the first time I am writing a review because I am deeply hurt and in pain, prompting me to express my feelings in writing.Today, my child's glasses broke at school, with one of the screws coming out. Initially purchased from the Vision Express Windsor branch, we opted to visit the Slough branch for a quick fix as it was closer and we were pressed for time due to its imminent closing. My child suffers from constant headaches, a health issue that made this situation even more urgent. However, to our dismay, the Slough branch refused to perform the seemingly simple fix, insisting that we needed to go to Windsor. We pleaded and offered to pay any extra costs, emphasizing our inability to travel to Windsor as it was closing soon and our child had nothing else to wear. Regrettably, they remained pathetically rude and aggressive.I feel compelled to raise this issue and share my comments across the UK, even reaching out to the head office, as they may not be aware of the situation. Such incidents might be contributing to the decline of Vision Express in the UK.

Vision Express Opticians - SloughI recently had a disappointing experience at Slough VisionExpress that I feel compelled to share. While browsing for glasses, I encountered an incredibly rude sales or customer service staff member. Initially, she displayed the price of the glasses on the screen and prompted me to sign the order paper. However, when it came time to finalise the payment, she suddenly doubled the price.When I confronted her about the change in price, she denied ever quoting the original price, replying with a dismissive "who told you?" remark. Feeling rushed and somewhat cornered, I reluctantly proceeded with the purchase, only to find myself deeply dissatisfied with the service I received.The encounter left a sour taste in my mouth, and I feel compelled to caution others against similar experiences. My advice to anyone considering visiting this establishment is simple: do not sign any documents before confirming the payment details thoroughly.In conclusion, based on my unfortunate encounter and the unprofessional behaviour of the staff, I cannot in good conscience recommend Slough VisionExpress to anyone.

I had an eye test and glasses ordered on 9th December, amd was kindly given an appointmentat short notice. The whole team was brilliant, and the service exceeded my expectations. I have complex ocular issues with a very strong glasses prescription. The lady manually doing the prescription test was very patient and thorough, checking if I have wider support that's needed. The associate Ifrar who assisted me with ordering my glasses was equally helpful, and also very kindly fixed my old glasses (he proactively offered without me asking). As a fitness to practice professional in the healthcare sector, I'm really impressed with the standard of care, and will be a returning customer!

Although previous customer of vision express I was declined service. I visited vision express on Saturday 11th November at around 15.45.I was initially asked if I am vision express customer. I find this question irrelevant as they have the obligation to serve the customers. I showed to them the eye test that I had with them. Secondly I was declined service because the frame was not bought from them. I showed to them that the frame has been bought from another vision express shop. They asked me to go the other shop and the optician declined to provide service without further explanation. It is unacceptable declining to see patient who rely on glasses.This is lack of professionalism and patient care.

Just popped in to ask if they would repair a broken nose bridge clip. I normally use the one nearer home at Birmingham. The two ladies there could not have been more helpful and friendly. A millions thanks all.

The customer service for customers with mental health problems is absolutely terrible my sister ordered 2 pairs of glasses since she broke her other ones they said 10 day?s maximum waiting time nearly 3 weeks now and we?re still waiting for them I told them my sister has mental health problems and needs them to be rushed they keep saying no they can?t do anything about it then they said there?s been a problem with the lenses now so they have to start over and we have to wait even longer causing my sister more and more stress she can?t sleep can?t eat keeps throwing up has constant headaches the stress is causing her so many problems I keep explaining she can?t see anything and the longer we have to wait the worse she is going to get but they still won?t do anything to speed things up every time I have called all they tell me is they don?t have any information yet they can?t even give us a due date I try and explain that this needs to be sorted sooner but no one will do anything I am disgusted with how this is all being handled the process is all wrong why does it have to take so long

From the moment we walked in we had amazing service from both Amar the Optician & Rajinder the dispenser . Mum had her eyetest elsewhere and we came to browse for frames and Amar helped my mum with chosing glasses. We did not feel pressured in anyway.They went through the options and after deciding on the varifocal and taking all the relevant measurements, they told us it would take 2 weeksBoth mum & I can't thank them enough for there time & PatienceHighly recommend

Good experience getting new glasses but very poor after care service. Needed glasses adjusting but they do not answer their phone. Called 3 times, on hold for ever and then the line goes dead each time. Complete waste of time.
