“This was our third year in a row at staying at the Castle Hotel. As always the service was excellent. Did not care much for our room 209, no view no bath and many bus tours staying in much better rooms at a much better rate. Not sure I liked that. the food was great I was surprised at the steep price increases this year. but found that all over Britain this year. The staff are always excellent. Especially Rija on the reception desk, what pleasant young lady. I will say it seems like bus tours take precedence over individual customers, we were there a week and saw them coming and going. I guess the bus tours pay the bills, while we individuals are the profit margins. Even with all this I still love this property with its service and history.”

“We’ve been here a few times with our young family after a day trip to Legoland and it’s safe to say it’s a lovely treat for the adults after a busy day outdoors! Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good pint and some yummy food! Also great basic but yummy kids menu ??”

“We spent last weekend at this hotel and cannot praise it enough. Secure underground parking, 15 minutes walk into the centre. Staff were extremely pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was plentiful and hot and there is a bar and outside seating area. We were lucky with the weather 2/3 days we spent there it was lovely. Certainly recommend it. There was quite an age range using the hotel. TV’s could do with an upgrade and the shower sealant in our bathroom needed replacing, other than that a great stay.”

“Stayed here overnight during our two day trip to Legoland as we didn't want to pay the high prices at the Legoland Hotel. This hotel is fantastic. It has a luxurious feel and is set in impressive grounds. Dinner at the 1705 Restaurant was delicious, as was the buffet breakfast. Staff were friendly. Would thoroughly recommend a stay.”

“Good size room and very centrally located. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Location drooped a star as central location also came with street noise late at night. Room dropped a star as, though it was a good size and had most of what you need, it did feel a little 'budget' and lacked real quality. You get what you pay for mind and it wasn't bad, hence 4 stars. Very close to the railway station in Windsor. Parking was expensive even with hotel discount. Suggest factoring in the £12 per day for parking when making your choice. Plus side was it really is quite close for getting your bags into the hotel. We were quickly provided with iron, ironing board and hair dryer on request. Also, plenty of extra milk and coffee available on request. Overall very happy. Thank you.”
