Good size room and very centrally located. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Location drooped a star as central location also came with street noise late at night. Room dropped a star as, though it was a good size and had most of what you need, it did feel a little 'budget' and lacked real quality. You get what you pay for mind and it wasn't bad, hence 4 stars. Very close to the railway station in Windsor. Parking was expensive even with hotel discount. Suggest factoring in the £12 per day for parking when making your choice. Plus side was it really is quite close for getting your bags into the hotel. We were quickly provided with iron, ironing board and hair dryer on request. Also, plenty of extra milk and coffee available on request. Overall very happy. Thank you.

The warm welcome on the arrival date offering a hot drink and juice for kids exceeded my expectations, really made our day after a long car journey from Manchester. Then again the service was excellent, attentive and very friendly during our stay, the team was very understanding in meeting our vegan dietary requirements.Next time would be nice if they could extend their Pizza offering to offer a Vegan option. On the day of my son's birthday the team sang a happy birthday song to him, bringing a stack of vegan pancakes.I defenietly recommend this great value hotel.

Room spacious and clean but avoid this place if you are looking for a decent night's sleep on a weekend. Even on the 7th floor you could hear every drunken conversation outside until 3am, with racers using the road outside as a track to showcase their pimped up engines (pathetic). I had to check the windows were closed as they might as well have been wide open all night.

The hotel was the perfect location for me right outside the train station. Check in was quick. My room was really spacious, clean, and warm. Bed was really comfortable and I had everything I needed. Check out was simple. Would definitely stay here again.

I'll start this by saying "I should have paid a little bit more to stay in a Premier Inn".Hotel room was clean and a standard Travelodge room. Not a problem. The location of the hotel.....it seems great, 1 minute walk from the train station, parking next door, 3 minute walk and you're at Windsor Castle, however, what is important is the architecture and buildings below. This Travelodge seems to be built above the delivery area for a plethora of shops, including a major supermarket chain. Meaning, that both late at night, and very early in the morning, there are lorries making deliveries beneath you. Added to this the architecture and design of the building, meaning that the reception area doors are in a non-escapable tunnel where sound waves from drunk returnees, passers by and screaming children have no where to go but up, up into your open windows on the 7th floor, that even when closed provide little to no sound insulation whatsoever. Add to that the oven-like state of your room with no air conditioning (Premier Inn has air-con), you will be woken up numerous times throughout the night. Myself and my Wife had the worst 2 nights sleep here We've had in about 15 months (and we have an 18 month old!).Won't be returning. Would not recommend it if you want a decent sleep. Fine if you want somewhere to crash from partying if that's what you're there for.

Very Smooth stay, Breakfast was good value, Hotel was clean and excellent location. Highly recommended. We were in a family room, hotel is just next to very beautiful rail station, few minutes away from the castle and bus stop to Legoland. Planning to visit again and will book same hotel :)

I own a travel agency in Canada, and I have had several groups stay at Travelodge Windsor Central. The location is fantastic: right in the middle of Windsor, a one minute walk from the train station (if you walk slowly), and next to the main shopping and eating areas. What has made our trips special, however, is the customer service that we've received from all of the Staff, especially Victoria and Sandra. We'll be back! Quays Crossing Travel and Tours

Stayed two nights at this hotel. Obviously a ?budget? hotel, so there are no frills at all. Room was clean, no soap in the sink dispenser, bed was fine. Went down to breakfast on the Monday morning and goodness me?.. the lids to the food were greasy, sausages and bacon done to within an inch of their lives, bread due to not being contained properly was hard. Would recommend spending a bit more for a better experience. Sandra on reception asked for us to mention her name so that she could win a little prize. So yeah, Sandra.

The perfect location - next to the train station and 5 mins from the castle. Clean family room reception we?re happy to help with lending a hairdryer and providing extra milk. Debbie was cheerful on reception and on hand if anything needed. Breakfast was good and a large selection

The stay started well with very friendly staff, one of which offered out little boy some free ice cream which he loved. When we got to the room it was very hot and the two fans on the side were a big clue as to the night that would be ahead of us. It was ridiculously hot, which resulted in a really poor night sleep. The staff and location are the reason we have given two stars. The staff were very friendly and did their best to improve the stay, but unfortunately the facilities really let it down. The location is amazing, just a 5 minute walk from the castle and close to lots of shops and bars.

Good location have stayed here many times. Far too stuffy and uncomfortable in hot weather though. Had 1 fan in room. Staff usually very good. Still waiting a credit from previous visit despite being promised and chased twice by manager. Head office letting the team down. Very time consuming in music too.

The hotel is perfectly located for all Windsor attractions, the service from reception to bar were all very friendly and helpful, particularly Sandra, who went that extra yard to make our stay enjoyable. The bedroom was clean and spacious, no air conditioning but a fan provided. Unfortunately we were on the east side of the hotel over the cafe/bar and above a noisy bar between the hotel an railway station which meant we couldn?t have the windows open. Having said that I would recommend this hotel but if I return would ask for a bedroom on the west side and higher floor !

We were warmly welcomed on the first date of arrival , all staff appeared to be very happy , and they couldn?t do enough for us , Breakfast was brilliant and there was plenty of staff available if any help was needed. I would absolutely recommend this Travelodge
