We?re new locally. We?ve been in around six times so far and it?s gone well. They are honest when things cannot be obtained and, usually accurate with order times. Which I appreciate are largely out of their control when some medication at the time of this review is unavailable due to national shortage. Otherwise, they seem friendly. Marked down 1* because parking is often difficult to obtain. I haven?t checked pricing as per previous reviewers so cannot comment on whether products are overpriced etc. Going well so far though and haven?t had a reason not to return as of yet.

I purchased some off the shelf Optrex eye drops on the 15th February, for my 2.5 year old son who was on holiday over half term with my wife and daughter. It turned out he didn't need them as my wife had purchased some from the local pharmacy where she was. So after I joined them and we returned I took the eye drops back for a refund on the 20th Feb.I was advised by the owner of the Pharmacy that it is UK law once a product like this is purchased it cannot be returned or refunded, because there is no way of knowing how it has been stored. I advised it had been in my kitchen the last 5 days, the box has not been opened and the seal not broken. It is an off the shelf product, not prescription and should be returnable. He still refused the refund. I have since looked up if this is UK law and it is not. It is at the discrepancy of the pharmacist.I would like to add that I paid JATS £14.50 for the eye drops, my wife purchased identical eye drops for £7.49. When I pointed this out to the owner he advised his prices from his supplier had gone up. I understand we are living in uncertain times, but a differential of £7.01 represents an uplift of 94%. With inflation running at 10% I don't think a supplier would be marking their products up to this extent.I have been a long standing customer of JATS, but now have to question the level of customer service and integrity. A local chemist such as this needs to thrive on trust and how it treats its customers. I for one will need to consider where I take my business from now on. With plenty of choice and a NHS pharmacist at Finchampstead surgery, it won't be a difficult decision. If I had purchased the eye drops at Boots or Tescos they would have been refunded without question.

I went in yesterday to get my blood pressure checked, the lady was lovely. I was after a certain prescription that she said I would need to call back in the afternoon and speak to Jay - totally fine by me.I actually forgot to call so rang back in the morning today and explained the situation to the man on the phone. He then said to come in and have my blood pressure checked, I explained again I had it done yesterday. He then got confused and said I could just come in, I then explained again that I came in yesterday for my blood pressure to be checked and that I was told to call to have a health questionnaire. He then proceeded to tell me they don't offer this and the type of thing I want they don't offer. But two people in the pharmacy yesterday said it could be offered?Unfortunately not the first time the same person has got things wrong because he doesn't listen properly. I'm not confident what he told me on the phone is 100% correct due to him getting things wrong and not listening in my other experiences.

Excellent service and very knowledgable staff. Would highly recommend the repeat prescription service.

This pharmacy as well as the others owned or run by Jayesh are plop with cheap stock being sold at ramped up prices. His staff are always cheap labour or family members and pay's them whenever he feels like it, and not much else happening other than that. They will go under soon as it's already been struggling financially for the last couple of years. That's what happens when you think you own people. You will get your comeuppance I guarantee you!!Come on Jay you know that Jats isn't the only pharmacy you own or run! Paying qualified staff slave wages at under £10 p/h isn't what I would call being paid fairly either!

I finally nominated Jats for prescriptions after putting up with the rude, curt, unfriendly offering Finchampstead pharmacy think is customer service. I wished I had switched to Jats years ago.I only began to appreciate Jats after picking up some prescriptions for a vulnerable neighbour during lockdown, and then, latterly, getting flu shots for my partner and daughter. What struck me was how well the owner and his staff knew their customers, and their helpful nature. This, my friends, is what old fashioned customer care and curtesy is like.Be warned. The owner does have a dry sense of humour. I love it, as I am the same. Po-faced individuals may not understand or appreciate this.

J is a great pharmacist & goes above & beyond for his customers, sometimes to his own detriment! It's a shame he's lost so many "loyal" customers to the Finchamstead surgery dispensary ?.

Fantastic service and advice offered here. I've been a customer for over 15 years and regularly ask for advice which has always been very helpful. The pharmacist is particularly diligent and knowledgeable. Always my preferred pharmacy.

I am a local and have no conflict of interest in writing this review.I've used JATS PHARMACY (Jay) for a while now. He's struggled through a period of concerted effort by some new, "commercial-only" interested investors to get customers to go elsewhere and interrupting his supply - This caused some negative reviews from some who didn't appreciate this. Thank goodness he and his team are still there.Thank you so much for your professional, honest, and reliable services.

We had run out of Vitamin D & Paracetamol, in the lockdown, we called JATS & they posted some through the letterbox. We been using them for years, and there always fantastic & nothing is ever too much trouble.

Despite using the pharmacy for years, it?s a shame that one bad experience (from the owners wife I assume?) is the reason I am no longer going to be using JATS. Never known someone to be so rude when they?re clearly in the wrong and to laugh in someone?s face is appalling.
Nicola & Hayley and 1 other lady are absolutely fantastic and I can?t fault their advise, cheery smiles and efficiency.
Please, Jay, do what needs to be done and train the ones with no customer service skills before you loose more customers.
