I have found some great books here at very reasonable prices. Staff always polite and helpful.

Excellent stock of books, but I was taken aback by the rudeness of the manager when I brought in a bag of books to donate. Very grudgingly he took the bag. This is not the first time this has happened and Oxfam needs to understand that without donations these bookshops would not exist. Another member of staff explained... read full comment

I took some books in to donate and was shouted at that she didn’t want them. Not felt so belittled in a long time. Rude and abrupt. So I took them to banardos who were happy to take them
