Thursday 28th December 2023 - glad to see this place still open and go into a shop and deal with humans at some stage of the transaction - very quiet and was in and out very quickly - prompt service and in fact they do not expect you to stay long as there were no chairs to sit down on!! Otherwise a good bargain and efficient service and done in Argos fashion

Sat Nov 25 2023.Efficient. Friendly. Competitive prices.I've used this Argos many a times to purchases goods, services and get eBay mail delivered here.Michelle who I believe is a manager there is always very helpful especially when helping me use my insurance for my small consumer electronic products.Notice they had plenty of shop floor staff this weekend and many temps ready to help on the shop floor and all were already very well trained and attentive.Warrenty and extra upselling is done both in professional and non-intrusive manner and I do recommend their insurance policy as they are the few stored that still offer accidental damage on products unlike certain prime competitor who let's say used to be called DIXONS.

The worst store Argos Galleries Bristol with the most insensitive employees, who do not do their job. We went to replace a defective product with the acceptance and reference number from the manufacturer, and the employees of this store offended us and kicked us out of the store, telling us that they are not interested in us.

Rude, unprofessional and dishonest staff.I purchased a non-stick frying pan on the Argos website. And collected in the Argos Bristol Galleries store. After three days of usage, I found that the non-stick pan is stick. After a further inspection on the pan, I found one side of the pan is out of shape (in oval), while the other side of the pan is normal.The Argos Online chat service told me this is covered by the 30 days warranty, I can return it in-store. When I finally have the time to visit the store 7days after the online chat, the Galleries store refuse to take the return since it is used.The store manager B and staff M randomly made up return/warranty policies in their own mind which are clearly contradictory to the official warranty terms listed on Argos website.M claimed the following:1. ?Argos policy does not cover any small kitchenware.?2. ?Argos warranty only applied to an unused item.?3. ?Argos 30 Days warrant is not operated by Argo, but by the manufacturer.?B claimed at1. ?If the pan was brought in 3 days after the collection, it can be returned. After 3 days, a used pan cannot be returned.? (Even I showed her pictures I took on the third day of usage indicating the pan is in the exact seem shape already)2. "If you found the pan is defect, you must bring it back ASAP"(people have life, there are many other things to enjoy than returning a defect pan )2. ?The store has the rights above anyone else in the Argos.?The above statements clearly contradicted the Argos' policy.Meanwhile, three different call center representatives and two online chat team staff agreed it can be refundAlso, honesty issues and professional issues.1. When I was refused, I immediately call customer service. The Argos call center tried to contact the Galleries store for a discussion. The call center representative told me that M claimed that it is me who deliberated damaged the pan. It is a lie. If the deformation is caused by me, damage on the pan?s coating should be observed. The store staff can clearly see, there is no damage on the pan. They are making it up.2. They lied so many times about the Argos policy.3. When I was in the store second time trying to have the call center, the store staff to work things out together, but for some unknown reason, the call center could not reach the store phone number. Both B and M refuse to talk to the call center through my cell phone, and they refused to call the call center through the store device. The manager B even went to the bathroom to hide from communication. And M even fight with their own call center staff stating that "According to argos policy, the store staff has the rights to overrule any customer service's decision".4. When the call center ask for their store ID number, they refused to give the info, making the communication difficult.5. When I tried to double-check whether the manager B wants to take responsibility for her words ?after 3 days, can?t be returned? through recording. She refused to talk and ran away again.Interesting, after I emailed the complaints department with clear picture of the pan, the refund was issued in 18 hours. (clearly, the store is lying about the policy)After reading other recent reviews online, I found that many people are expericence the same issues in this store.I strongly suggest you to avoid this store if you are looking for a return or a aftersale service.

Approached an assistant at the customer service desk for a refund. She approached manager for decision since she clearly was unable to make one herself. Very rude manager on a power trip refused to take item back for a refund claiming that the seal had been broken. There wasn?t even a seal to begin with and item is perfect in original packaging with receipt. Needless to say, other store branch took it back without even a question

Purchased some headphones today and it was given to me in a scuffed and broken box and one of the earbuds was broken. I decided to return them and was met with a rude and angry employee who refused to accept any fault lay with them and instead accused me. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day but wasn?t a great experience!

I wanted to return a featherstone suitcase I had bought 7 months earlier to this store as the wheels were already gone completely. I had the receipt and 5 year warranty with me. The pink haired big shop assistant without looking at it immediately diagnosed 'accidental damage' which could not be accepted for warranty. When I asked her how the obviously poor material of the wheels wearing completely off by using the suitcase as a suitcase could be accidental damage she ridiculously claimed it had been 'overloaded' and the wheels been stuck. Apart from the fact that I exclusively moved clothes in the little suitcase there is nowhere a load limit mentioned in the product description or warranty. Despite proving her wrong she brazenly refused to exchange the suitcase. I had to go to another Argos the manager of which immediately gave me a refund but didn't have a replacement in stock. So I had to spend my day chasing a new suitcase which could have been resolved in five minutes. She deserves to be fired as she is violating customer rights not to mention the subterrestrial service

Incredibly bad returns policy & very rude unhelpful staff!!!Please think twice before purchasing anything expensive as they will not exchange or allow returns!!!!!

Staff closing early and lying to your face saying they have no one when you can clearly see the other staff behind them. Really felt dismissed and mistreated by her behavior.
