The pharmacy really is a disgrace. I wasted 20 mins in queue to buy an over the counter medication (which I have bought here before after chatting to the pharmacist) only to be told by the person serving, that the pharmacist doesn't offer face to face consultations anymore and, to go to a different pharmacy. Really appalling service when we are constantly told not to bother the GP and to go to the pharmacy. I would avoid Boots at Avonmeads at all costs.

Avonmeads. 3pm Saturday 6th Jan. The queue for over the counter and pharmacy was combined and long. The older lady serving was shouting at customers to join the queue and at an older man who tried to be helpful in getting what he wanted from behind the counter. The younger lady was constantly touching her hair, face and wiping her nose with her hand while serving. A small notice gave new limited pharmacy hours while all large notices inside and out advertised late night pharmacy. Overall an unpleasant shopping experience. Could do with some customer service training.

After getting medication prescription sent to this store for my very poorly little boy, I get to the store at 9.30pm to find the store shut and nobody to answer buzzer to get medication from out of hours window. The store shuts at 9pm but the pharmacy window is meant to be open till 12pm. No notice to say it was all closed. Terrible.

Very bad customer service ever experienced I have been referred by the NHS 111 and after I went to the store they refused to see me they said they haven't been trained I don't know why that person is working there I called NHS 111 back and sent me to easton pharmacy day and night they welcomed me straight away and gave me the medication i thank them alot they have been more helpful than this pharmacy

Always a huge queue for the pharmacy and not enough staff to move it along. Almost never have my prescription ready, never particularly apologetic about it either.

This is one of the best, the pharmacy team are so helpful and professional, nothing is too much trouble.The sales floor team are just as good, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable.

The pharmacy is basically a mess. No-one bothers to acknowledge you. Service is incredibly slow. It's seems like they have little organisation - never seem to be able to find the prescription. No service on the medicines counter so you have to wait in the pharmacy queue. They don't answer the phone. I'll be changing my nominated pharmacy away from Boots.
