In my opinion a very good bank, always served in an efficient manner. Friendly courteous staff.Online banking easy to navigate, conscise. Never had a problem yet!

Poor experience overall. Staff could not help me with an overdraft in branch and when I asked them to call head office to compete it they said this was not possible, their phone would not connect to head office. Not very helpful.

Rubbish! - They can't give you your own statements under "Data Protection" even when you present ID. A very old school approach to banking, they need to get with the times.

Service was timely; the staff were informative, helpful and welcoming. Hard to believe a lot of these other reviews - I was very satisfied with my experience.

Historically always been good enough, however they've closed all Bristol branches apart from the one right in the centre in the pedestrianised area. So I have to drive to city centre and pay for parking just to pay in a cheque. Apparently I can pay in at the post office too, but thats not good enough.

I tried twice to phone the Broadmead branch. I held on for five minutes yesterday, only for someone to pick up the phone and then put it down without sepaking. I phoned again and then an automated message stated that the phone number was not available for incoming calls or something like that. I then phoned the Co-op National Call Centre 0345..., and they tried phoning Broadmead branch, using the same tel.number. They had the nerve to tell me there was no answer because they were busy. I asked if they had another contact number for this branch and they said they phone on the same one I used. But it doesn't work, so this is an unprofessional bunch. I only hope they have my money available when I visit the branch!

Usually been good to me at the old Gloucester Branch, at Bristol they don't pick up the phone. Having trouble with their online banking, their website won't accept my correct login details - hence trying to call my bank, who've never answered the phone, in all the times I've tried (dozens) Now do I have to waste several hours & spend money traveling by train to visit the bank in person on my weekend?

Tried calling the bank 5 times now and still not getting an answer at one point I heard them pick up the phone abt 3 times then put it back down by then it cut me off

Usually the staff here are friendly and helpful, but today the member of staff with whom I had the misfortune of speaking was curt and actually rolled her eyes at me in reaction to my question about a cash deposit.

Was given a counterfeit twenty pound note by cashier at the desk when withdrawing money from savings, went across the road to Natwest who took the note from me as they have to, was told by co op they could not refund my note despite it being their error, you'd think a bank would be able to check its own notes, absolutely ridiculous. Twenty pound I really cannot afford to lose. Disgusting.
