Awful. Stock is terrible you buy something once and they've completely run out of it for the next two weeks. No one works in the bakery so a small range of baked goods are made once a month.

Nice: open 'till late, friendly personel, and often reduced stuff due to being almost expired. Not so nice: never ever any fruits/veg left in the eve.

Some staff being very rude. I was falsely accused of knowingly underpaying vending machine coffee at the self-checkout whereas it was an honest mistake on my part due to the till system not being very clear . Was chased down the road to pay for the difference like I was a shoplifter and embarrassed in front of other customers. What a joke. Management vacant.

Tills often have no one there and so you have to wait for a little while for people to come. Staff can be rude too, particularly the older staff. I recently waited at the cashier desk simply to chat to someone instead of just using a machine. Then I was met with a sigh and ?can you just use the self-service tills?? when I said I was paying with card. This came from a small lady wearing a visor who I assume is a supervisor/manager. She proceeded to chat to another customer while serving me and talked to me in a rude tone. I left the store feeling really embarrassed and all because I assume she wanted to speak to her friend but I got to the till first? Also, like other reviews, shelves are often bare and I have to go elsewhere for what I want. I live right by the store but I?ll happily shop elsewhere with better customer service. If management were actually trained properly and competent, the rating of this store would be a lot higher than just 2.7 stars. There are surely plenty of suitable people to hire as staff but I suppose co-op really scraped the bottom of the barrel this time.

Do not EVER turn up here expecting to be able to use the Hermes parcel drop off without issue. Despite it being 2021 you'd be advised to phone ahead to ensure the machine has labels and that they have receipts to give you. An absolute joke of a service.

Normally a great little shop with rally friendly and helpful staff.But the last few times I've been in there have been quite a few people without masks, including the staff.Today I went in and it was really busy.No queuing systems, no one socially distancing in the air or any where else.At least 6 customers with out masks om and one member of staff.

There is never anyone on tills. Just this tuesday there was absolutely no one on the shop floor. There was a huge queue more than 5 people waiting for a cashier and another 4 waiting at the self service tills for help. Absolute worst store I have ever been to. There is never anyone ready to serve at the till. Recently I tried to use the new self service tills and I had to wait 5minutes before someone approved my age. Awful store. If your not going to have anyone at the tills then how do you think your going to offer good customer service. I would rather go to a different store that actually has someone waiting to serve.

Let's face it. The shop assistant at the till cannot be bothered to look for your Hermes parcel at the back.Most importantly, if asked "where is it from?" what he/she really means is "which app/website did you order your stuff from?"Finally, in case your name happened to be of not immediate comprehension... Well, be prepared to be at the receiving end of "the stare of shame".

Asked about store opening hours, as shop was closed for 30 mins to replenish shelves?? Was told to look online no mention of timings on door etc to see when store is open? No mention online that the store is closed? No Semi Skimmed Milk available several times when visited store - staff unhelpful and unwilling to assist in any way! No other local supermarket eg Tesco or Sainsbury?s closes to replenish shelves so don?t know why this can?t be done at night / before store opening? Waiting in the cold and rain just literally require 2 items and waiting 30 mins is the icing on the cake of a bad shopping / customer experience. People will start to shop elsewhere if these issues are not rectified - at least 20 customers turned away from Store whilst closed!!!

I've come to this store on 5 seperate occasions this past month and every time it's been sporadically closed to restock shelves for over an hour.... Never at the same time either! Sometimes midday, sometimes 5pm, and also times inbeween. :( I walk 20 mins or so to get my shopping from here...However, when the store is open, I find the staff lovely. Just a shame about the inconsistent openening hours.

I feel like the negative reviews here are a bit harsh. The staff are usually friendly and helpful.Some self service tills would help to reduce the queues. It is quite annoying the way they now often close to 'restock shelves' now and you walk to the shop and then realise on arrival that it won't reopen for half an hour.The NHS discount is appreciated and it is good to have the Hermes service.
