Firstly a good price fir a replacement front number plate I broke. The ordering was not clear regarding how fitting would get arranged which I paid for but when I got to the Halfords they were very quick to produce the plate and then fit it. The customer service rep who dealt with me and fitted the plate was very good and a credit to Halfords.

An ABSOLUTE Joke. My car Battery died and my fiancé kindly went to Halfords Cribbs Causeway to get it replaced for me on 07/02/24. He accidentally purchased the incorrect one and the assistant was super helpful in sorting it out and ordering the correct one but, unfortunately, that is where the positives end.We were advised that we would be called in the next 3-Days when the Battery arrived so it could be fitted. Those three days came and went but noone had made contact so, we called the helpline (because there is no way of contacting the store directly, which is ridiculous) only to be told that they needed to wait for a response from the store and we'd receive a call back with an update before the end of the day. The end of the day came and went but no call. So, we chased again. Miraculously, they actually are able to now see the delivery status and it has not arrived but our order would be put on 'high priority'. Another week came and went with no contact about our 'high priority' order so .. again .. we chased only to be advised that HALFORDS had cancelled our order and not notified us or returned our money a week ago!Furious now, we requested to cancel the order and receive a refund because, while they are dragging their heels, my car is sitting idle and I have no way of getting to and from work. The operator advised that they would put the request to the store manager but they could not email or confirm, in writing, what they had done - Why not?! If it is the store who needs to authorise this, why can we not contact the store directly?!It is now 22/02/24 and we have received no correspondence about the battery, the status of our cancellation and we have not received our refund.DO NOT USE HALFORDS! They will not help you.EDIT - The response below says that they have reached out to me .. they have not. Or, if they have, I am clueless as to where.I called the helpline again today to ask for an update only to be told that they needed to escalate it to their support team. This was not good enough, as this had already been promised, so I asked to be put through to the store directly which, amazingly, they can do now!The Gent on the call from the store was kind, calm and very reassuring.However, what is more frustrating is that, when my fiancé went to purchase the battery initially, they found my details from a previous visit for the receipt and etc. but DID NOT check that these were still correct hence why we have been hearing nothing from them!Also, I'm sure this is a breach because, what if that wasn't my fiancée?! He wasn't aware that they had used my details.. they didn't ask who he was.

Great service.Ordered front wipers on 21 Feb 2024. Good price for Bosch components. Attended Cribbs Causeway store on 22 Feb. Dealt with efficiently, wipers fitted and away within 10 mins. Would recommend if you are nervous about fitting own wipers.

Picking up a new car battery for a 2001 VW Beetle.Assistant was really helpful checking both the counters and outback. Once she realized the code had changed from my last battery I was paid ond back home in minutes!

Bought a product with a so called three year warranty. I was given a paper receipt, when I asked for a email receipt like they normally do, I was told "it's to late now I've already put it through". Now less than a week later I've misplaced the receipt, so I've no proof I bought it. I truly feel like I've been scammed. My advice before you hand over any money tell them to email your receipt if they refuse go elsewhere. Changed my mind now, young man who served me today, 19th Feb. Was very helpful with my wheel bearing and is a credit to Halfords.

I took my e-bike in for a service as the chain was slipping. I was grateful to Odhrin for his thorough approach to identifying and solving the problem. He was friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciated him taking the time to test the bike and also explain what had happened.

Certaintly they took my money but they couldn?t provide the service I booked for. Dash cam fitting. They knew I bought the product and they booked me in. 30 min in they couldn?t do it because they failed to inform me before booking, the dash cam had to be from the store. Thank you.

Since having my stereo supplied and fitted by Halfords, I have encountered several issues and now have to mess around trying to get it sorted out. Don?t bother wasting your time and money, they can?t even call you back and the guys fitting it didn?t have a clue!Problems:No sound from Sat Nav or hand free telephone kit, not good when I paid a fortune, Owe and they have blown my heater bulbs on the display!
