Uninformed, unhelpful staff. The experience I encountered has caused me to close my account with HSBC as a whole (after 12 years). From the looks of the other reviews, it looks like this branch is notorious for poor customer service.

Champions of greenwashingDespite the bank's recent policy update, made in an attempt to remedy its image after numerous accusations of greenwashing last year, HSBC continues to invest billions in the fossil fuel industry. HSBC's sustainability policies allow the bank to continue to own stakes in coal companies that together plan 73 new coal plants, predicted to cause 19,000 air pollution deaths per year in addition to advancing climate breakdown; while the bank's so-called 'sustainable finance' has recently been found to be funding oil rigs, deforestation, and pipelines. I cannot invest my finances in a bank which has proved itself to be entirely untrustworthy while continuing to unapologetically contribute to climate breakdown. There are many other banks which do not invest in fossil fuels or partake in sharing disinformation and greenwashing. I have therefore switched to a bank which is aligned with my values - and the overwhelming scientific evidence - and would encourage other current and potential customers to do the same (check out switchit.green).

Visited to open the student International account. Did see a good coordinated team work and process in line.I think with increased account opening for students more staff could have been deployed.Me and my kids are international premier account holders and I think we should feel privileged when we visit any branch globally. It's really sad to see the premier section deserted everywhere I went in the UK and needs an appointment if services are needed. That's really illogical. Even the teller counters are not premier designated.The global team should look into this.At this branch , I would appreciate the service provided by Mr Stephen Butter Worth from the network team in assisting me , even though he was assigned the student account opening for my daughter.

HSBC losing customers to this branch. Wanted to open an ISA and a current account, made an appointment here and the advisor was so incredibly unhelpful that I ended the appointment and went to Lloyds instead. If you want people to trust you with their savings and money, you?re gonna need to improve your customer services massively.

Good service,should never have closed my local branch,now takes 1 hour to get to branch and a very long walk. Not very happy with HSBC.

We went to the branch angry and came out recelved thanks to Natalie Warr. She was patient, understanding and professional. Our issue was with an overseas branch. Yet Natalie, with her most respectable customer service, helped us go through endless hurdle and eventually brought the overseas branch teams together and resolved our issue. We can't thank her enough for her kindness.

Staff were very helpful, attentive and understanding. They resolved my issues. Daniella, who helped me just the other day, was patient, helpful, and informative.

If I can put no star, it would be exactly that. Awful customer service, horrible music while you waiting for ages on hold, app which you can't use if you have two business accounts with hsbc terrible banking device which died on me when abroad, no access to money. avoid this business as much as possible

Waiting time is unbelievable. Staff not helpful and they just chatting and tell joke to each other. Absolutely rubbish service. I will cancel everything with HSBC.

Even though my previous experiences were neutral, today we had an overwhelming experience.The executive I believe his name was Ike/Ibek, spent lot of time with us assisting on all the issues we had.
