“Had the best roast dinner here on Sunday! The pork belly was delicious, with plenty of vegetables, gravy and a big Yorkshire pudding. Will definitely be back and a fab atmosphere to boot”

“I’ve been buying my Italian goodies from here for 18 years. The fennel sausage is my favourite, great with porcini, sun dried tomatoes in a tomato sauce with rigatoni. Also love the fresh meat deli and fresh olives, anchovies and cheeses are to die for. The smell of fresh basil and imported biscuits and tonno take me back to my time in Italy. I couldn’t do without it!”

“Excellent place to shop for wines from around the World. Buy one bottle your favourite wine or half a dozen. Mix and match and then receive a discount. My favourite is a red named the gov'nor, Spanish great red at 14%. Plenty of tastings. Emails keeping you up to and discount vouchers if you wish. Staff just brilliant and they carry your box of wine to the car.”

“You could not wish for a better Post Office/Village Store. Umang and Vaishali are fantastic and so dedicated, they stock everything you could need or think of (in the region of 6000 products I believe). During the pandemic lockdowns they provided a lifeline to the local community, especially the elderly/those sheltering. Josh who often mans the shop is always friendly and helpful. Great opening times. If you need to get there by car the parking can be tricky at busy times, but that's Pensford for you. An absolute asset to the village, thank you.”

“Great store, has the best food and drink for anything. Anything up to American sweets and general chocolate. Good for the money and nice customer service. Every time I’m in Bristol, I go here as it is one of the best corner shops I’ve been to”

“Loved it here. We came mid-week, but this place was busy so would recommend booking a table. Great atmosphere and service was friendly throughout. Both my husband and I went for the jerk chicken leg (with an extra piece of chicken...). This was delicious - the chicken fell off the bone, and the gravy had a great depth of flavour. There was also a good chilli kick too. It wasn't really hot, but the chilli built up throughout the course of the meal. The chicken came with rice and beans and fried plantains - and we also ordered some coleslaw too. Everything worked well together. Would definitely come back here again to try some of the other meals on the menu, and some of the cocktails too!”

“Has self service and normal checkouts too. Next to the lawrence hill train stop, it is well situated and there is ample parking. Though the traffic lights are a bit of pain if driving”

“Always friendly staff, the owner vas is amazing, what's even better its 24 hour which there isn't much shops around to get your bare essentials all through the night. I always feel safe even if I'm popping in at 3am”

“I love this shop, the staff are amazing and polite especially the manager and they always try their hardest to help. Ive seen them raise money for charity too. Best shop in the area. I think it's funny the bald guy who gave the shop a 1 star as I was in the shop while he was being served by one of the shop staff and I witnessed him abusing her for no reason.”

“Okay if you need to buy a few items, but unfortunately it's really expensive! The store now sells Safeway products and the quality of the ready meals, fresh produce and the new Safeway branded products has improved markedly. It's still a bit pricey though!”

“Staff is kind and helpful. They work so long hours, I dont know how they keep up.Not good wine selection, but beers ok.The food selection could be better too.But this is a small premier shop, not more to expect.Good they have Hermes drop off.If you need a quick snack or drink, good to shop here.”

“Good selection of drinks, often some good stuff that you won't find the neighbouring local convenience stores. I don't find it to be much cheaper than anywhere else, its just the convenience of being open 24hrs. ”

“It's ok, just an ordinary shop but writing this review to correct an incorrect earlier review that says there is no public access. That's wrong. The shop is accessed through a rather nice concourse with seating that is open to anyone.”

“Only way I could post a comment to a review 3 days ago was to write a review myself. Baltic Wharf has a female manager so I don't know who you spoke to but it wasn't the Manager.”

“Fantastic stuff. Manager Reece & deputy Laura cannot do enough for their customers especially the elderly ones who sometimes go in just to see them and they both make time for a quick chat. All the rest of the staff are lovely too ?”
