Very polite staff but being told a parcel of no more than 1.5m in height and 5 kg in weight was too big to send? I hate the word, but 'preposterous' is the one. And the reason? The driver only has a 'little van'? I thought they were kidding. There was absolutely no mention of this in the shop, on the Evri website. Maybe they should put some kind of warning in place. Surely it's the PO business to make sure they can get parcels into a van sufficiently large for the job of delivering parcels?

This post office is my favourite in Bristol. Staff are kind and always go the extra mile, giving good advice on the best ways of sending items and happy to help even as regards cashback and other services. They were lifesavers during the pandemic. Efficient but with real warmth! Special shout-out to 'Janak'- she makes my day!

Living fairly close to 3 post offices this lovely, helpful and friendly branch will always be my post office of choice. Running my own business I have used this branch to post/ship items, most weeks, for the last 4-5 years. The staff are incredibly warm and chatty. Customer Service is tip top. ??

Having used this branch for four years now I cannot speak of the staff highly enough! Whether sending parcels, withdrawing cash from the bank or purchasing Euros for holiday; always friendly chat from the two female customer service team. ???

I've been using this branch for decades, the current staff are the best ever, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient, even a queue isn't an annoyance as I know the people ahead will be quickly served. Since the banks have abandoned Gloucester Road, this branch has also become essential for my banking needs, I don't know what I'd do without it.

The staff here are all awesome and the service stood out even during the worst of the pandemic. They pay attention to every request even if it's not core to their business. They also put up with unreasonable abuse at times. People should value staff more. I can't speak highly enough of them. - JD (frequent customer!)

I visit this post office frequently to send out blood samples etc. The staff? especially the ladies that work there are so so helpful and ALWAYS greet you with a warm smile. Lovely people and amazing service. Love Laura and georige (nurses that always send blood)

Had 2 Royal Mail packages set to be delivered here for pick-up (as the app allows me to do). However the staff here refused to accept them and returned my packages to sender!! Unbelievable! Really bizarre behaviour.

Unhelpful post office. I asked for some Freepost envelopes to exchange out of date stamps. The staff berated me for asking for more than one envelope and scolded me for asking for it so close to the deadline. The whole place is untidy, tired and boring.

Don?t ever use that post office. I?ve had 2 parcels redelivered there, both times they couldn?t find them at first and they turned out to be there. They barely look for the TRACKED parcel and just say they don?t have it when it?s on the shelf behind them. Would put 0 stars if possible.

10/10 post office.Great service with super friendly staff.I regularly use this post office and pretty shocked by some of the reviews. I have been served by every staff member here and they always are extremely helpful and happy. I probably go weekly at a variety of times and have been served instantly up to within 15 minutes.Yes there may sometimes be a queue at lunch but find a post office that doesn't. Going to the post office isn't the most joyous task however the people in the Glos road one really make an effort to make it as stress free as possible and I appreciate them!If you don't like it here I would suggest going to the one on Cotham Hill because that will ground your opinions somewhat and make you appreciate the care that goes into the Glos road brand!

Went here to deposit some cash.Asked how much I had on answering the woman assistant rolled her eyes.Never even said thank you for my service.If you get her she looks like a squatt Uncle Fester in a head scarf with a 5 o'clock shadow.
