  I have found the Salvation Army a complete let down. My family who are currently Salvationists ostracised me when they discovered I was only half sibling, as my mother had an affair. I raised Safeguarding concerns of an experience while a youth in the Army. I am personally glad I left the organisation. They advised my Step dad and mother to leave a Corp and not tell me I was another man?s child. These are not Christian behaviours and far from it. Nearly everyone I knew as a Salvationist ostracised me. So I don?t know how the great William Booth would feel about these things. ? while there?s one dark soul, I?ll fight!? Those were the words of a leader. The Salvation Army have appeared to have lost their direction in my opinion! This corp has decided to block me from giving my opinions or comments and that?s not democratic. One needs to ask why ?

  My Grandma lives right next door to the Salvation army and there has been quite a few anti social behavioural issues within their grounds which they haven't handled very well.
