Lots of problems with Boots pharmacy or yrs such as one staff for v v long queues, rude staff at times, not always but too often...Tried this one & it is not as busy which is good but very slow despite only 3 customers. No friendliness but not rude just OK. I will try there again due to lack of waiting. I have a painful knee so not waiting fir 40 minutes plus is a bonus.

Incredibly rude and condenseding owner. Feel for the people who have to work under him. Curt and unprofessional service. Even when people want to help local businesses rather than big pharmacy chains you can't help but go back to them for bit more professionalism.

I rang in with a missed prescription. The pharmacist went out of his way to help me and download my prescription here so I could collect it

We needed some cold sore cream not knowing what price was reasonable. Not wanting to shop around, and not knowing about another chemist nearby, we were offered a small 2 grm Lipsore by RelonChem at £6 - this being slightly cheaper than one we found on the shelf at Sood. Shortly afterwards, and not far away, a competitor was selling a 2grm Lipsore for £4 and later came to realise you only need to pay between £1 and £2. The premium price could not be justified but it did the job and "caveat emptor" is the watchword.

I occasionally go into the Gloucester Road branch (near junction with Zetland).I don't know his name but I find that the chemist there (possibly East European) and I find his manner very warm and reassuring.

Handy, friendly chemist on Gloucester road.Good chemist for finding different brands of health products, and good if you prefer chemists that aren't main steam.

Very expensive. I prefer to support local retailers where I can but the item I bought was £2 more expensive than in the boots a few doors down. I can?t justify that extra spend

Good staff and reliable, more limited stock of over the counter products than the larger pharmacies, but if in need of prescriptions or advice, they are quieter than most and therefore simpler and quicker to collect from or ask for help in most instances. Have been happy with the service.

As a new walk in customer I was given the NHS Flu vaccination in January 2021. The staff were very friendly, polite, professional and couldn't have been more helpful.
