Possibly some of the worst service I've ever experienced. We had one waitress at the start who was great but seemed to be doing everything. Her shift finished during our visit and everything went downhill rapidly. One waitress dumping / dropping the wrong food on our table and walking away despite us telling her immediately that it was wrong. Food taking ages to arrive, when it finally did arrive it was wrong. Even the bill at the end was wrong and we had to ask for it to be amended 3 times.Largely the food was ok. Nothing wrong with it but the prices have gone up so much while the quality has also dropped significantly. There are much nicer restaurants in Bristol that cost far less and you'll get better service.

Called in for a drink before going to an event. Chatting with the bar tender and mentioned it was our anniversary, next thing we know there's 2 free cocktails on the bar... awesome service!

Booked a table for myself and my girlfriend at 5:30 on 16/03/24. Wished we?d looked at the other recent reviews as we may have thought twice.Our initial waitress was attentive and took our order around 5:45, and we were looking forward to the meal. Not sure where she went but wish she?d stuck around as she seemed to disappear for the next hour of nonsense. We watched as our cocktails were made quickly at the bar, placed on the bar, then sat there for 20 minutes, as other servers occasionally came to the bar, picked up other drinks and took them to other customers. Eventually I went up to the crowd of gossiping servers and asked if the cocktails were for our table, as they had been sat there for 20 minutes. They jumped into action and promptly brought them over, but by this time a large portion of the ice had melted, meaning we got a watery warmish attempt at a cocktail, which was rather underwhelming for the price.Not letting this get us down, we got hungrier for the food we had ordered, in hopes that so far it was an honest mistake. Around 30 mins after we ordered, we watched as a table 2 down from ours that had been seated very recently, were given the exact food we had ordered! It piqued our interest as not only were we hungry and saw people who had arrived later than us get food, but we overheard the conversation with the server, stating they had not even had their starter yet, and questioned if it was their meal? the server confidently told them it was theirs and walked off, bringing their starters 5 mins later.After 45 mins of waiting, with more tables around us receiving mains despite having arrived later than us, we asked a server about our meal. Without listening to our concerns, she just bluntly asked if we wanted the manager. Not particularly, but since she was so uninterested in helping us, I guess we had no choice. We then watched as this server went over to other members of the team - not the manager who we later met - and rolled her eyes, making faces about us, as the other members of the team all looked over and pointed towards us. If you?re going to moan about customers, maybe not in an open space in the restaurant?The manager seemed friendly enough, but also appeared completed uninterested in what the issue was, instead lying to us by saying our food had just been placed by himself personally onto the pass. If that had been true, I find it odd that he didn?t carry it over with him to see us??We didn?t get a chance to explain why we were upset, but asked to cancel any order that was still waiting, and said we weren?t happy paying full price for the drinks we?d received as they?d gone watery due to the wait and the lack of food to accompany them. He asked us how much we?d like off, a strange offer which put us in an awkward position. After some awkward ?umm?s?, he said he?d give us 50% off the cocktails we?d got, but proceeded to charge us 75% of the original cost. Feeling rather defeated, we just paid and left, opting for a faster, cheaper, and likely tastier meal from Tortilla just downstairs.Shame that a chain where I?d had nice meals in different places now let me down so terribly in my home town. Don?t think we were thinking of coming back, but looking at other reviews of other terrible service and rotten food, definitely not setting foot anywhere near this restaurant again.

We?ve been many times over the years but it?s now exceeded our budget? why they think it?s ok to charge £16 for a cocktail (that is in a small wine glass) and over £20 for one single adult dish (that was vegetarian so it?s not like it was a Kobe steak!) you?re not the Ritz and the service doesn?t support it! Don?t get me wrong, we loved going, we loved the food, you?ve just started charging stupid money. This was unfortunately our last visit. We didn?t tip as we felt we?d been rinsed enough.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian food is great if you can afford it?.

Awful service. Actually told by a customer leaving not to bother going in but we had a table booked for Mother?s Day. It wasn?t ready and they had almost half the menu unavailable. Waited 15 minutes without even being offered drinks so gave up and went to Frankie and Bennys which I can highly recommend if you?re looking for good service and decent food.

Deffinitly one of my favourite places to go to:)The ribs are amazing would definitely recommend. Grilled chicken burger was abit hard and dry but it was good overall. Welcoming staff and attentive waitress. Good atmosphere just music a little too loud.

We decided to come here as the place we wanted to go didn't have a table for another hour. Wish we had waited for that.The menu was lacking (they used to have a lovely Jack Daniels chicken which is no longer on the menu), so I opted for a cheeseburger which came in at just shy of £20. It was a McDonald's burger in a slightly fancier bun. My friend and I shared a mac & cheese side which was basically just soggy pasta with a crumb topping. Not cheesy at all.The service was terrible. We were given a dessert menu and then told they'd come back to take our order. By the time we managed to get catch a waitress' eye she informed us that the dessert station was now closed. Surely you'd come over and let us know that it was closing and ask if we'd want to order? We asked for the bill, which was brought over to us and we let them know we were splitting it. Again, we were told they'd be back but nobody came - until an older lady came over and told us quite passive aggressively that they were closing in 10 minutes and we needed to leave. We explained we were waiting to pay our bill and would have probably left earlier if we weren't waiting, to which the young girl returned with another copy of the bill and no card machine....Not worth the money, go to KFC or McDonald's instead.

I think this is the last time I eat at TGI Fridays. The food has gone down hill over the years, while the prices continue to skyrocket ahead of other restaurants that provide a better service, food, and ambience.You're looking at at least £50 per head for 2 courses and a 2 drinks, and the food is subpar.

Visited on Sunday 18th Feb at around 5pm only to be turned away as the restaurant didn't have enough waiters even though the place was less than a quarter full.Gave them a second chance and visited on Sunday 25th Feb and really wish i didn't. The restaurant was quarter full with none of the TGI Fridays atmosphere but seemed to have plenty of staff as most we're just standing around chatting. After 15 minutes of waiting someone took our order but when the drinks arrived we we're missing part of the drinks order and had to ask for it to be corrected.The starters arrived not long after yet there was no cutlery on the table and we had to ask for a knife and fork! The starters itself was ok yet no one checked to see if we ok.We then sat (and as others have commented in their reviews) waiting patiently for our mains...it was a good 40 minutes after our starters were taken away it arrived with no cutlery again. But more annoying and we had noticed our parts of the main food waiting under the heating lamps for 20 mins. Apparently they kept it there as they waiting for chips to be cooked !!!! We watched the staff just standing around, looking disinterested as our food just dried under the heat lamps (and heated up the coleslaw and dips). We complained when the food arrived and the waitress just said theres nothing she could do it wasn't her job!Another family sat at a table across from us heard our complaints and as they had been waiting 20 mins for someone to take their order they got up and left!There is a total management failure happening at this restaurant with poor service , staff who aren't interested, food that's over priced and of poor quality . They seem to be replying on the brand name to get people through the doors rather than providing a great service and based on the number of poor reviews it seems to have been going on a while yet the management seem interested in sorting out their issues! I certainly won't be in a rush to go back.

What happened to TGI's? The menu is half what it used to be be. They had nothing available, and the food was average. Since COVID it seems to be on a downhill slope.

Very poor experience, do not recommend.I was very unhappy with the service and food quality at this TGI branch, where I had a disappointing dining experience on 18/2/24. The waitress who seated us was impolite and stressed, saying "ugh now we're going to get busy" as if we were a nuisance. We were seated at dirty tables that wete sticky. The staff took a long time to take our order, and the only thing that came promptly was the drinks, of which there were unable to make several due to insuffient stock.The burgers and chicken were dry, stale and bland, we had observed them sat on the hot plates for a sigificant ammount of time before heading our way. As a result, they had no flavor or moisture. The staff were indifferent and distracted, spending more time talking around the till than serving the customers. One waitress brought a coke refill to our table without even saying a word and slammed it down on a side board, didn't even place it on the table. The meal and service were not worth the price we paid, and the atmosphere was unfriendly and unpleasant. The cutlery had water marks on them. It felt, an unhygienic place to eat.I tried to complain to the store manager by email, but she was unhelpful and dismissive. She did not apologize or offer any compensation and acted like it was our problem for being dissatisfied. I felt this was rude and unprofessional.This place is a letdown. Do not waste your time or money here. You will be disappointed. I will not go back to this TGI Fridays or any other branch. They need to improve their standards.

Food was standard. The service was terrible. Our food came before we had to ask for our drinks to be brought over. Had to ask to pay the bill too. Didn't come over to us at all!
