Wasn't able to eat, when finally seated we were ignored for 35 minutes by server's just walking past us, tried to get their attention and were dismissed. Had a young child with us and couldn't even get a soft drink for her. Wasn't very busy either, I'd say around 5 members of staff were all working on this section with around 10 tables seated in total. 3 members of staff just stood talking but yet when we tried to get their attention just ran into the back. Went before and have a similar experience but though we'd give them another go but can honestly say I've never experienced a restaurant like it. I think yoy should invest on some staff training

We always have a lovely time and great food coming to TGIs. This is the second time we have been served by Amelia and she?s always so bubbly and friendly, this time making the kids some doggy balloons. It?s great to be served by someone who is easy to talk to and good with the kids.

We went as my partner said TGI Fridays was amazing, we were met by a young male server who was friendly but looked rushed off his feet, my partner had an allergy and he had to get his manager to take the order (totally understand that) and he was also friendly, unfortunately, much to the disagreement to the other reviews, the lady named Amelia slammed our bill on the table when walking past not saying a word, I would say she was busy but there was 6 tables in (I?ve worked hospitality for several years, I understand stress but not for 6 tables, and this shouldn?t change your attitude towards customers). The food was sub-par, quite tasteless but decent prices, and it was so dark in there at one point it got even darker and we thought the lights were turned off! Bit gutted as my partners been bragging about how good the place is and how I?ve been missing out (a different location) and since we were in the area we tried it. Would either recommend going elsewhere or just steering clear of TGI?s if this is the same quality food and service as the other chain?s restaurants.

Unfortunately very disappointed with tgi this time, been here for years but had a terrible evening. I had the cheese meltdown burger with extra "loaded cheese and bacon fries" I'll attach a photo of the fries, quite embarrassing really. The burger was burnt and dry. Staff chatting in the kitchen and behind the bar leaving quite a few unhappy customers that evening Unfortunately. (Saturday 28th October 2023) We did get a refund for the bad burgers admittedly but still put a very dark cloud on our experience.

Amelia was an AMAZING server. The restaurant was severely short staffed but she made us aware the moment we entered the restaurant and did everything to make sure that we were fed quickly as we had somewhere to be. Amazing service, with a smile, despite being under huge pressure!

Came in with my partner only to be approached by rude welcoming staff that instead of saying welcome to the restaurant she fired up if you do not have a booking we can not seat you!!, we did have booking so she sat us down, waitress came and fired up to order quickly as they starting to clean the kitchen, bear in mind i had my booking for 10pm, so expected i will be able to order food just fine, however as she said it so rude to us we felt really bad and me and my partner have just left as didn?t feel welcomed. We didn?t even get chance to look at the menu before she rudely spoke up to be quick, Will never visit again your front staff needs sorting urgently.

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!Where do I start here...Came here post ninja warrior. Upon entering the place. Straight away looked dark and depressive but we kept an open mind.First we ordered our drinks and after asking for a draught beer, we were told they had ran out of gas so I said ok no problem I'll just look at the menu again. I then noticed the price for a 330ml bottle of beer (£6.60 I believe). Astounded by the price, I opted for tap water. Next the food and and I went for the burger. My brother ordered two starts at £9 each. I ordered fish fingers, chips and beans for my daughter...45 mins later (the restaurant wasn't busy). The waitress returned to inform us they were out of beans so we just agreed to have a few more fries.5 mins later the food arrived and I was so underwhelmed I cannot explain..The burger was so average and as for my brother's starters.. well, horrendous comes to mind! The staff all looked miserable and not interested at all, the food was so overpriced for what was served and tbh the whole experience was absolutely dreadful. Its been maybe 10 years since I've been in a tgi's and I can assure that's the last time I ever step foot in one.Do yourself a favour and go to McDonald's around the corner and save yourself a lot of money and enjoy a better meal (yes really!)

An abysmal experience at TGI Fridays.Arrived after a film to grab some dinner, as soon as we walked through the door we were ignored by the staff for a good 3/4 minutes despite them being stood right at the entrance. We were finally told that a table would be cleaned ready for us and to wait at the bar, which normally I don't mind. We were stood at the bar for a good 5 minutes, with the gentleman behind the bar absolutely ignoring our presence. Not so much of a 'hello' or 'I'll be with you in a minute'. He was just making some drinks in the corner. After our 5 minute wait at the bar (which was wasted as we didn't even have any drinks served because the bloke was so useless), we were seated. We ordered drinks and were handed the menu. After a brief wait the waitress came to take our order, and informed us that there was no burger buns, and limited availability on a lot of things on the menu. We threw in the towel at this point. You should be made aware of lacking menu items before you waste 15 minutes of your life and £9 for two drinks (really?!) in a restaurant.Abysmal customer service from everyone at this restaurant. I know it's not the Ritz, but some training here is greatly overdue.Nothing about this experience was enjoyable or worthwhile. You'd have to pay me to go back.

Pretty gloomy. There was great 80?s-90?s themed decorations, which I think is the selling point of their restaurant. Waiters were ok. Quite a long wait for food, but starters came almost immediately. I do get this as they were quite busy at the time but we were waiting around 45 minutes. Asked a waiter for vinegar and ketchup, didn?t come back to us. Used to be much better, food was average, I would come back again because it?s always been one of our favourite restaurants for years.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Broken furniture, run out of food, toilet covered in feces, served mouldy broccoli, asked for better. Said that was the best they had. Cucumber had not been stored at correct temperature as had signs of being frozen. Manager couldn?t give a flying pig when I complained.

We booked a table and were greeted by a particularly sullen waitress, which didn?t start the visit well. No huge deal, we?ve become quite accustomed to lacklustre service and were only really concerned about getting fed. The waitress who took our order was actually really friendly and food came out reasonably quickly. However, this is where the positives end. My chicken burger was horrendously dry with crusty cheese and was missing several items from the description, including the pickled onion. The sauce that was provided was disgustingly sweet and sticky, so I?m glad that was given in a separate bowl as I didn?t eat it. The fries were good, but lukewarm. My husband?s burger was also dry, tasteless and lacklustre. We then had the chocolate cake for pudding, which was nothing special. However, the biggest concern was how utterly filthy the place was. There were crumbs all over the tables, chairs and floor and, parked next to us, was the dustpan and brush full of leftover food. That was quite unappetising. We also saw a waitress drop a steak knife and then proceed to pick it back up and give it to a waiting diner. Additionally, the staff were really quite unprofessional and seemed that they didn?t want to be there. I heard one exclaim ?I?m so bored? to her colleague while cleaning a table and then later mutter ?f*ck off?. It was actually a really quite unpleasant and unwelcoming atmosphere. This was my first visit to a TGI Friday and I am certainly in no rush to return.

If you're into dingy, this is your place. I would have preferred to spend my money in a Northern men's club. For the length of time this business has operated in this spot (30 years), it's not unreasonable to expect some kind of renovation; after all TGI FRIDAY has earned an ample amount of money from the community they are taking money from.Service - I've see bad service in my time, but this was definitely in the top three. The so called waitress with 2 feet long nails who was more interested in blowing up a balloon than doing something of use, seemed incapable of cleaning the menus, picking up the things she dropped ( e.g. fork) or taking dishes off the tables. The amount of times staff walked past used dishes to go to the kitchen was laughable in the end. Should staff have long nails, given the hands and nails are not scrubbed?Food - over priced, cold and soggy. I was about to ask for the other half of the mains order it was so small. Having realised how dirty this restaurant is, it was impossible to eat.Toilets - smelt extremely bad and the condition of the floor is an indication of the quality of the toilet facilities.Suggestion - buy a nice meal in M&S

Booked in as a group of 6. Service at the door was fast and staff were polite. The drinks came and were fine. The food came in good time however missing the kids corn (which we were then informed the kitchen had run out of), my husbands dish was missing the blue cheese sauce and we had no cutlery on our table which we had to request.Food is very expensive for the portion sizes and the potato skins, which used to be my favourite dish, were so sorry looking. Dry, burnt and lacking in cheese and bacon. As we ate I noticed a waitress begin to lay cutlery at the booth next to us and heard a clatter of cutlery, which the waitress left and walked off.We paid the bill and as I was leaving I spotted that a mound of clean forks had just been dumped onto the seat of the booth and left there. I'm hoping that our own cutlery hadn't been found on a seat where other customers rear ends had been before being given to us... made me feel quite sickly.

Very poor experience . All the staff were kids running it with little to no guidance in any way. Everyone stood about trying to look busy. Missing orders . Had to ask 4 times to get a drink. I had the ribs which were nice but a few more chips would off been nice as 12 was not great. Kids meals came out with items missing and told out of stock. We later found out it was not the case from the manager .Bit of advice. Staff need better training and support to be more attentive to the guests. Never had issues at other venues but this one needs a sort out. And a bit of a clean up as food splatter an all over the ceiling above the table . Never being asked if we want drinks . And a pet hate was trying to clear plates from the table when some were still eating. Really not the TGI experience that should be standard .

Came out for my birthday meal. Nicole was our waitress. She was fantastic. Nothing was too much for her. Food was great. Thanks Nicole
