This restaurant is an example of Deliveroo culture. As we waited for our food , a long line of drivers stood waiting to collect food. The entire focus of staff was on the delivery service. Our food on New Year?s Eve was very expansive and almost always below the standard expected. Very

-The dumplings I got felt really store bought and were boiled instead of steamed-The receipt prices were very different to the ones on the menu with a total raise of almost £10(!!) They charged me for multiple things I didnt order that resembled what I ordered but more expensive, if it was just one thing I wouldve understood its probably an honest mistake but it was about 4 items so it felt super scammy and purposeful so please be cautious before paying-Staff was lazy and not very niceThe main I got was really good tho so I'll give them thatVegetarian options: Every non veggie meal has a vegan meal similar to it, menu is huge

Walked in and the first thing we were greeted with was what appeared to be the contents of a rented flat.Service was haphazard to say the least.Half of the drinks (lagers) on the menu were unavailable.Food was very average and over priced.Definitely would not recommend.Such a shame as when we visited five years ago it was a completely different experience.

Really disappointed with this restaurant. Terrible terrible service. The waiters did not introduce the dishes when serving, especially when the food were so dark with sauces that we didn?t know what were in the dishes. Food? Forget about it. Don?t even waste your time and money on this restaurant. Better go somewhere else if you want your money well spent. Will never visit this restaurant again and I recommend you not to.

Very disappointed with the food here. The lamb dish we ordered were very very tender and the portions were small despite the price! It took forever for the food to be served. Service is non existent as main was served without ordered rice/sides but at least they dare not to add the service charge. The decoration in the restaurant is nice tho but really let down by the food and price. Trust me there are better places to go for Chinese food in Bristol.

Shocking, wish I had read reviews before ordering. Had the same experience as EVERYONE who has ordered recently. Food was over priced and was foul. No flavour and over cooked. Could over look the soggy food if we received what was ordered and was cooked well and had flavour.Would like to know what Chinese restaurant Wongs ordered the food from for when the BBC critic turned up.

Service was slow but not unreasonably so to begin with, the waiting staff needed the food orders pointed out on the menus as they didn't to appear speak English, which was not a problem. When the sizzling beef came out it looked delicious but disappointingly they forgot to bring the rice and needed reminding twice. We waited a little too long for that and I although the rice was lovely I couldn't distinguish between the plain jasmine rice and egg fried rice. £75 for two courses and one drink each made it quite pricey I feel but I'd visit again.Wheelchair accessibility: Did not appear to be wheelchair friendly. Stairs up into the restaurant, again to the tables and more to the toilets.

I ate tonight at Wongs, having been a couple of times previously. Sadly, what distinguished tonight from the two previous visits was that this evening, the food and service were mediocre (2 or 3 out of 5 - having previously been 4 out of 5)There were two waiters - with one waiter clearing and setting tables and the other single-handedly seating guests, taking orders, dispensing drinks, serving tables, taking payments, and ferrying deliveroo/Uber eats orders from the kitchen to the door like a frenzied madman!!After being seated, I scanned the QR code to order. Food eventually arrived, but despite asking both servers twice about my drink, I realised my request was quite a way down the main server?s to-do list - particularly with a growing number of helmet wearing delivery drivers congregating by the door. The food that arrived was supposed to be Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken - but the batter appeared to be different tones (some dark, some very pale) and the meat was suuuper fatty. After another lengthy wait, I finally captured the attention of the main server who said he didn?t think it was chicken (turns out it was pork/mixed meat). He took it away and brought me grandma?s chicken as an alternative. Finally getting round to making my drink - an iced bubble tea - it was literally a branded coke glass with strong builders? tea, ice cubes, and dark popping boba. To be fair to him, the server did manage to make it in the blink of an eye and while being harassed by at least three delivery drivers! All in all, the meal epitomised ?meh? - twenty five pounds of mediocrity. I hope the server actually gets some of the 10% service charge. If for no other reason than he?s doing the job of (comfortably) two or three servers by himself.

Had a pre show meal at Wongs as a special treat. Menu was full of very very different food we'd never thought of trying before.Food was lovely, not greasy, portions are big, so 2 could share easily. Service was efficient and friendly.Atmosphere was quite authentic and expensive looking.Had we not been going to a show after, I would of tried the Jellyfish in dark vinegar. I asked the waiter what his thoughts were and he said(it's quite out there, so if your not sure, I wouldn't try it).Looking forward to going back nearer Christmas time.Would recommend to others and recommend also to book.We didn't see a disabled access to this entrance.Vegetarian options: There was a vegan menu available and vegetarians were catered for on main menu.Wheelchair accessibility: We didn't see any wheelchair access.

My wife and her daughter had lunch here. They are Chinese and said it is the worst meal they have ever had in England. The meat was not fresh and was tough/gristly. The tofu was uncooked. The soup was flavourless. The food was cold. No napkins. Poor service. Avoid!

Food is incredibly overpriced. Atmosphere is strange. Service is slow and inattentive.

I?ve been ordering lunches from Wong?s almost everyday for a long time. The staff here are friendly, the food is delicious (large portions!) and the price is good. They serve authentic Chinese dishes.

Unfortunately, I did not check the ratings before going in. Honestly, I just went here because the Italian down the street was fully booked. I tried to order duck for me with a side of broccoli and prawn noodles for my son.
