I have been a customer for some years and have always found the service to be excellent,I always liked James he was a lovely person and had a great personal touch, sadly he left and new staff have taken over the branch,they are all very nice and helpful, today we were served by Emily Autton who is delightful and has a warm and wonderful way.Service is what you get at Yorkshire Building society.Highly recommend.

Online services are not very helpful and long waits for an answer just to be told they can't do anything over the phone. I would avoid opening an account with YBS in favour of a more accessible Building Society. Obviously this is not a reflection on the quality of staff who all seem friendly and polite.

the staff here are always very nice and i must say extremely helpful,i had to take my 4mth old jack russell to the vets and the staff who met my dog archie many times sent me a lovely get well card regarding little archie which was very considerate of them.honestly ALL the staff are great.very proffessional too.
