They never answer the phones. Been over 3 weeks since I paid and no glasses. Emailing with them and they can not even tell me when I will receive my glasses. Customer service is very bad.

Ordered glasses mid January. Money taken instantly. Told by email arrival in 1 week or so. After a month I phoned to be told supplier delays. After 6 weeks I contacted them and demanded cancellation and refund. Now at 7 weeks nothing, no money, no glasses. And no attempt by Direct Sight to contact me, the customer. Terrible service, after I used them loads in the previous years, NEVER AGAIN! BEWARE!

I think this company is a scam. Ordered glasses and paid the money. Had an order confirmation, but glasses never arrived on the stated date. Their website states that they are open and available from 09:00 until 18:00, but calls/ chats are not replied to. Emails are ignored as well. I recommend avoiding this company. Should be reported to trading standards.

Not always the cheapest when you add on extra coatings, but the value is good and the service is great. One pair I had was broken by my son, and the lenses were put into new frames in about ten minutes.

I ordered a pair of glasses through Direct Sight, but received no email confirmation. I tried to call the customer service line with no answer, so emailed them asking for a confirmation.After not hearing back from them for days, I assumed my order hadn't gone through. I needed replacement glasses ASAP, so I ordered some from Specsavers instead (knowing I had the "30-Day Free Return" through Direct Sight as advertised).After not hearing back for weeks, I was asked for an alternative email, so provided one. I still haven't received an email confirmation to this date (I have checked my spam folder). Weeks passed and I eventually received the glasses which I returned as I had got the others from Specsavers.Weeks passed again and I had heard nothing about my refund, so I decided to phone up. I was put through to a rather rude lady who pointed out to me that she'd emailed me regarding the return - again, I had received no email. She informed me that hidden away in the Terms & Conditions, the refund was only for the frames... not the lenses (this is also not stated in the Returns page on their website). In the end I decided to get the refund for the frames, but feel the "30-Day Free Return" is misleading.Overall, pretty terrible experience with Direct Sight and never received my full refund.

Sent my Oakley frames in for new lenses (packaged sensibly in a box that fits with bubble wrap) as they are delicate and expensive.Glasses come back broken and twisted crammed into a box that was too small, with no protective packaging.I asked for compensations as it's clearly an issue with their inadequate packaging.They pointed me to the small print and said no compensation available (They did offer a pair of their in-house frames)If they had made any effort to packaged them, I think this is possibly fair. But it was clearly totally inadequate packaging and penny pinching by them that caused this issue.

I used to use direct sight to reglaze glasses but they seem incapable of doing it without breaking them now.I sent a set of unworn vintage polaroid's in and they came back twisted, I returned them and they broke them - I bought a pair of brand new frames and they too have just been returned twisted with the stems bent out of shape. Wouldn't use for reglaze!

I wanted to look for an alternative to high-street opticians to reglaze the frames I had been gifted as they were quoting me about £170.I thought I'd shop around first I ended up comparing online opticians. I've never used online reglazing services before and was a bit sceptical. After a couple of days of comparing quotes and services, I decided to use Direct Sight. Their website is very professional, user-friendly and straightforward unlike some of the other online opticians I came across. There was also a 10% introductory discount which I thought was a nice touch. They offered a range of payment methods which the other competitors lacked. Still feeling apprehensive about online opticians as I had no previous experience using them, I decided to take the leap and I am so glad that I did!I was very impressed with the reglazed frames Direct Sight returned - they truly did an impeccable job. Better than high-street opticians I would say!I can't say enough how happy I am that I have found Direct Sight. The service is fantastic and the value is great. I paid over just half of what I was quoted by high-street opticians and for a far superior better job. As someone who likes to research and compare comprehensively before taking the leap, I honestly can't recommend them enough. I'm so happy with them that I have sent them another pair of frames reglazed.

I?ve used them for reglazing many many times. Staff really helpful and if you visit their Amersham branch they will reglaze while you wait (about 30mins) for just £10 extra.
