“The family that run this post office and shop always do so with a smile. They are incredibly helpful and carry an extensive stock range for such a small place.Fruit and veg is always good and if they haven't got something (like blueberries) they will simply raid their own personal fridge. Now that's great service. Thanks from a very happy customer.”

“Used to shop at Lidi but they then made the mistake of changing their rewards you earn on the app and their shelves were always half full, changed to Aldi and have never looked back, I can get 99% of what I need there wish it was 100 but still not bad, prices are coming down. Only one issue they don't sell the freezer shopping bags which is a shame.”

“Great value fruit, vegetable, grocery and household shopping with mostly own brand items and regular special offers and promotions. Lacks the selection of branded products found in other supermarkets though. Regular special deals on a variety of products.”

“A good quick shop. Liked the fact that there was no music to get on your nerves. Several of my usual items were reduced eg Ecover non-bio laundry liquid. However, a down point was that the open fridges containing meats etc were very cold to walk along and next time I must remember to wear a warm jacket! Our local Budgens in Wendover has doors to all fridges.”

“Lidl is the best oml the pasta pots are head and shoulders above the competition, the creamy coleslaw is beautiful, not as good as the Oakfield road lidl as the bakery is quite often sparse in the square one”

“Local convenience store and post office. Friendly couple who run, very helpful. Sells all the grocery items, wines, beers and spirits you would want. Also a good selection of greetings cards. The store is also a newsagent with all the national papers and popular magazines. They also sell hot drinks and sandwiches.”

“Like a good petrol station rating. Solid four stars for this one. Pay at pump for 24 hours service, or use the small shop to pay the friendly cahiers. Unleaded, super unleaded and diesel. Air and water too. No LPG or hydrogen yet though ☹️”

“Small older store near the market square now overshadowed by a much larger Sainsbury's further up the A41. OK for small shopping but the new store has more choice, also clothes textiles etc.”

“Easy to park and shop. At times social distances a little awkward, but this is more customer behaviour. Sometimes refilling the shelves during the day makes social distancing more difficult. Food choice good the team are really good and friendly”

“Great supermarket and very friendly staff. Thanks to Matt for his help in finding what I needed. Plenty of free parking but the petrol isn't as cheap relative to other petrol stations as it was when Tesco first opened here.”

“Popped in here to use the lavatory, and I must say it was the utmost of lavatory uses - very sanitary and gave a very calming experience. Would recommend anyone if they're in the Aylesbury area to check out the toilets here as they are fantastic. Would give more than 5/5 if it was mathmatically possible.”

“I had delivery collect my good last week for the first time order was the best that I have had out of most of other shops service was out of this world fast and what I ordered was perfect I will use them again as soon as they are open thank you for your service”

“Budgens is no longer a discount store as it was in the past. They've gone up market and so have their prices. Expect to pay a significant amount more for things like alcohol compared to supermarkets. I realise it's a convenience store. But the markup on alcohol and some other products is a bit over the top.”

“Nice range of fresh bakery products, alcohol, soft drinks, a low frozen range, whilst mainly selling shelved items with a row of fridges. Cheap and good quality!”

“I have used this shop on a daily basis for many years. Raj, his wife, mum and the team are always very friendly and helpful. I buy my chosen beer in there every day. It’s always in stock and chilled. Ok. Tescos might be 25p cheaper. This is a very important family business which the local community should support. I used the Post Office today to get a Travel Money Card. Mrs Shah was so helpful and explained the benefits of having it whilst abroad. Genuinely if we don’t use these businesses which are run by such committed proprietors they will disappear. You will have to go into town and pay parking then wait for ages at the Post Office in WH Smith’s. I will have to go to Tescos to buy my unchilled beer straight off the shelf. These local businesses are so important. Please support them.”

“A pretty standard small Tesco. They have staples like milk, eggs etc but sometimes run low on things like cakes or fruits towards the end of the day. Some items are a bit expensive but not outrageously so. Decent selection of wines and beers, spirits are behind the till. ”
