I dont normally write reviews but I felt I had to tonight. Our whole experience here for dinner was Amazing!And our waiter Aaron this evening was 10/10 we have never had such excellent table service , excellant manor, Courtious, Friendly, Fantastic with my 2 year old niece and the dog. There's plenty of parking here, and the place is lovely, the pods outside are a great spot for small groups/families.Unfortunately, part of our order was not put through, and four of the meals were cold.

:Crowded pub. Long wait for food. Steak overcooked but ample portions. Fish flaky and fresh if too large. Waitress ambled around, not flustered by the mob. Service slow on busy day. Food just fair, not outstanding. Bellies full when leaving. Good value. Would go back when traffic lighter. Gets the job done even when rushed.
Bordering the Chilterns and nestled in the village of Prestwood, this stunning Grade II listed building originally came to life as a 17th century hunting lodge. Jump forward a couple of hundred years and the uniquely-named Polecat has enjoyed modern life as a popular local inn, with a reputation for food and hospitality that's worth travelling for.
Following an extensive, yet sympathetic redesign and refurbishment, the Polecat is the very best example of a contemporary country pub. The traditional bar and cosy fire places have been supplemented with a new glass-fronted restaurant accommodating an open theatre-style kitchen and wood-fired pizza oven. We have also given the spacious gardens a tender makeover and added a significant extension
