Lodging in Marlow, Buckinghamshire

“I felt the room, whilst very nice and serviceable, the room was looking a little tired and needed a small amount of work to bring back the sparkle. There were weeds on the balcony, the bathroom taps were a little scaled up, a few knocks on the pictures and the tea/coffee box was missing its knob on the lid, it didn't take away from the experience.I wasn't happy come breakfast neither, my partner requested the continental breakfast and gluten free toast as she has an intolerance, I ordered the full English with scrambled egg. I was served bacon, scrambled egg, 1 mushroom and half a tomato with 2 slices of toast, it wasn't until I had almost finished and and realised I hadn't recieved my potato cake that it twigged on my why no sausage and black pudding and my partner had recieved no toast, it was because I was served a gluten free version of the breakfast because our orders must have been mixed up, so when we queried the toast and explained the situation my partner was offered fresh toast as it had gone cold as I wasn't truly sure it was mine. My partner recieved fresh toast but there was no mention of supplying me of my missing items or even of any toast. I know this seems pety, but it turned a lovely stay with an exceptional meal in their restaurant the night before into a bit of a negative feeling in the morning.Rooms: Our room was a little tired and could benefit from some love and TLC.Nearby activities: Lovely town and some cracking views of the bridge and River Thames and weir in Marlow.Food & drinks: Evening meal was exceptional, cooked to individual requirements, very handy for a GF partner.Mix up at breakfast was a let down tho.”

The only thing I found an issue with was that quite a few items were not priced and came across as a ploy for getting customers to come to them for help as oppose to asking customers if they would like help. Other than that... It's really nice inside and shop smelt great.”

“Highly recommend! Came to Marlow on a day-trip while traveling the UK. Hotel was in a great location in town. Able to walk everywhere, great staff, very accommodating. We got into town before the room was ready and instead of lugging our luggage around town, we were able to hold our luggage at the reception desk. 10/10 recommend!”
