Shocking service. In recent years, many branches were closed, leading to only one branch being opened, i went in for a simple service, queueing for more than 40 min. In the end, I was told to book an appointment during the week as saturday appointments are not available as are all booked as far ahead as April. The advisors clearly dont care as well are you first or last on the line. I never thought im gonna witness such appalling service to the point that i have to change my bank!

Appalling service today - have sat here for over an hour to transfer some money and still not been seen. Keep being told I?m next on the list but those that have appointments keep going in front so never being seen. Not enough staff and nobody really bothered that I?m not being seen - why is it so difficult to come into a branch and transfer some money?

No buiness banking staff. No one to talk too. So disappointed. 30 years with the bank personally but no interest in my business. 300 years of expertise but no face to face business staff :(

This is probably the only barclays in a 20mile radius of Milton Keynes now. I've had enough of this awful treatment of thier customer and will be opening an account at Metro bank where customer service is so much better. I have banked with barclays for 40 years and feel that the closing of branches is just a cost cutting exercise and not anything to do with customers changing banking habits. Shame on you !

Shocking service at Barclays midsummer place. Long queue even for the simplest of tasks. Waited 20 minutes still not near the front of the queue. Only came here because they closed our local branch

I popped in whilst doing some Christmas shopping to make a transfer and they were fabulous, they showed me how to do it on the App and also how I could pay in cheques too without needing to come in, great service!

They now just put profit before customer service, so as a Premier customer I am now moving banks to someone that still believes in the customers. The branch is just so painful to be in on a Saturday with no staff.

Cash deposit machines inside never work, they are reluctant to take it by hand and over the counter. 24/7 deposit machine outside never works. Drive all that way to put money in and you can?t. As a cash in hand self employed barber this isn?t helpful at all.

Waited 50 mins to be served. Only 2 cashiers on out of a possible 4. 2 other members of staff were near the cashpoint machines inside. I did ask why one of them could not pop on as cashpoints not busy. The reply was " we need 2 to prioritise the customers at the machines". Could not believe that all of us queuing past the queue area were not as important. If I did not have the breast cancer money to pay in I would have left.Alot of customers complaining about wait.Do not go to Barclays here. Bad customer service.Go to Nationwide further down. No queue and helpful cashier's.

Another long wait for the counter. Far to long. Lunchtime and only two of four counter places staffed. There is a notice on the counter about paying in cheques, but it's bent in a way that means you can't read it unless you are already at the front of the queue. In addition the design of the space means I can hear banking conversation across the room. It's pretty rubbish all round. I've been stood here ten minutes already and moved one space.. 8 people ahead of me.
