Popped in to Evan?s cycles Mk this morning unsure of how to set up my Bluetooth with my recent purchase of a wahoo ELEMNT bolt. Although the staff were all very busy Chris was very helpful and paired my wahoo to my phone. Nothing was too much for the staff. Chris also helped with my purchase.Satisfied customer. Big warning for those purchasing a bike online from Evans - I tried and paid for a bike and the bike produced was very different from the picture in the advert - big difference in disc brakes in the picture - none on the bike produced. They seemed surprised when I said I wouldn't accept it. So be careful as they may try to do the same to others. Then having agreed to replace it, they delayed and now neither the shop nor their customer services are 'able' to do anything... 3 months later, still no bike...

Great customer service up until you pay for your bike. Once they have your money you are on your own. Do not buy online as you have to get everything fixed at an Evans store, else they deny all responsibility.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My husband and I went to look at bikes as we were interested in the Cycle to Work scheme. We spoke to a young guy who was helpful but came across like he was being forced to be there. Whilst this young guy was helping us, an older guy with glasses was sometimes coming across to provide more information and did come across as pleasant. All through, we explain we?re keen on a purchase but need to complete Cycle to Work forms. Once me and my husband decide on the bikes as well as accessories, we get to the till to get a list of all expenses and then explain multiple times that we will be applying for Cycle to Work scheme, so will be coming back with that. A tall, bald man who appeared a bit standoffish and hesitant to help wrote down the prices for all the items (as we needed exact amount for the voucher application). A week or so later, we returned to the store, spoke to a different young guy who was pleasant and helpful, however, once we got to the till to complete the purchase of the items with the voucher in hand, the young guy had to check the voucher with the tall bald man, who I heard say ?No, we don?t accept that here?. When the young boy returned to tell us this, we were furious! At no point did anyone mention during the initial visit that Cycle to Work is not applicable, even though we mentioned it several times to all staff members we spoke to! The young guy we spoke to was not at fault but the tall bald guy didn?t even come over to apologise or explain further even though he had spoken to us on the initial visit when Cycle to Work was discussed and appeared to be a senior staff member. There is no notice in store explaining what vouchers are applicable, which is also not very good. Both my husband and I left the shop upset and disappointed at the terrible service. We then thankfully found Trek store which was an amazing stark contrast to the rubbish and pathetic service at Evans. Will not ever be going back to Evans cycle.

I'm always impressed when I come into an Evans Cycles, and the MK store is no exception! Their friendliness and depth of knowledge is incredible. The speed at which they can diagnose problems and know the exact solutions is seriously impressive. It's really worth paying for these guys' time and service! Thanks for the help!

DISAPPOINTEDPurchased a Trek Marlin 7 from the Evans Xcape MK store, the initial salesman was very pleasant, he explained he had a deal available on this bike as it was a 2022 model and was selling at a discounted price. I agreed to the deal and paid outright for the bike. A week later it was ready for collection upon collection i noticed the bike didn't have the Shimano brake system as outlined on specifications online. It had been fitted with the lesser (in my opinion) Tektro brakes. When I questioned this the salesman said due to lack of some parts availability, the brakes had been swapped out for an equivalent option that was available at the time, in this case the Tektro brakes. At no point in the sale was this mentioned , i was told when I questioned this to refer to the terms and conditions on the Evans website. What really annoyed me was the blame on covid, im sick to death hearing this excuse covid was three years ago FFSAt that point the salesman and Evans had lost all credibility to me. I will upgrade the brakes but not through Evans, ill spend my money elsewhere.

I visited the store today with the intention of procuring a wheel locker, a vital component that has unfortunately gone amiss from my newly acquired bicycle, purchased through the renowned online marketplace, Amazon. During my visit, fortuitously, I had the pleasure of encountering a highly commendable gentleman by the name of Oliver, whose assistance proved to be invaluable. Not only did he aid me in locating the desired item, but astonishingly, he graciously provided it to me completely free of charge. Such selflessness and generosity are truly unparalleled in my personal experiences. I am simply astounded and deeply appreciative of his kind gesture.

People were very helpful but when I picked my bike up from there brand new the front derailer was not working and the rear was miles out of alignment, obviously didn?t have a very good pdi before I picked it up

Was stuck and could not find the correct tool anywhere for my bike repair on my Bottom Bracket. After speaking with Evans cycles at xscape MK they helped me to source the part same day . . Very happy customer.

We were on a cycling holiday staying over in Milton Keynes for the night. My bike had developed a clicking noise which was of concern to me. Discovering that Evans Cycles was close to our hotel I took the bike across to see if there was anything to be done. The technician gave the bike a thorough check over and whilst we were collectively unable to cure the clicking, I was re-assured that the bike was safe and we would be able to complete our journey to Derby. Excellent service by a young man that obviously has a passion for bicycles.
