Was nice, the staff didn't give us a table initially as we haven't pre-booked, they said they are full. Then we left and booked online in 15 minutes and we got the table. The food was good, the service was good too, no complaints otherwise, happy with it.

Where to begin?we had a table for 2 booked on Friday evening (1st March) around 6:45-7 and the service was so poor. It started off well enough and we were seated quick enough but i kid you not, 20 minutes+ had passed before anyone served us. We joked if anyone was going to come over and whether we should leave but in the end we decided to literally holla over to a random server to get their attention to place our food and drink order.Drinks came out quick enough after this and we then waited probably a further 20 minutes for 1 calzone, 1 pizza and a side of fries. The food was fine but no one checked if the meals were okay or whether we needed anything, such as sauces, salt, pepper etc. Although the food was fine, some ketchup wouldn?t have gone a miss, especially for the calzone (thought it would have more sauce) and some salt for the chips.Unfortunately because they were so bloody slow in there, they missed out on further business in the form of us ordering either a starter or dessert as we needed to head off to the cinema around 8ish,The only reason we managed to leave quickly was because we asked for the bill as soon as they came over to the table to clear it and we didn?t trust they would come back to us any time soon if we weren?t direct with them.Now i?m no bell*nd and can appreciate it?s friday evening and they clearly have insufficient staff, like almost everywhere as the country is going down the pan, but waiting 25+ minutes and then having to get the attention of someone yourselves to even order a drink is bloody poor by any standard.

Service was ok, the music could only be heard if you had superhuman hearing and the food was very very average with little flavour but the reason for this review is that when the food came out, we were asked if we would like any dips to which we both said yes please, could we have some mayo. The lady then came over with two miniscule servings of mayo that would have fitted in a thimble. For a start it was garlic mayo which wasn't what we asked for but most surprisingly when we got the bill, we had been charged £2 for this. There was no mention of a charge when dips were offered to us, it was not what we asked for and the amount was laughable. If you're going to add stealth charges to already relatively pricey basic food you will lose custom. On this occasion, your foolish, sneaky practice has lost you two customers. I'd be interested in hearing a response to this being that I've never been charged for mayo in any restaurant anywhere in the world unless it's a sachet from a takeaway. Also, you operate a cashless restaurant but this wasn't mentioned when we came in, it just says it on an A4 poster about 9ft up in the air by the stairs.

45 minutes to get 2 pizzas & a salad. One pizza was stone cold & had to be remade. Had to take it out in a box with every else finished. Apologised but only took a drink of the bill. Wouldn?t recommend.

Please be careful ,if you order food online you will pay a lot and you will get a very small portion, it's a joke i will never order

We are regulars and Zizzi?s Aylesbury owing to my son?s love of pizza over any other food! We booked for New Year?s Eve and were served by a young man named Dylan. He was so attentive and friendly. He really looked after us and went above and beyond to ensure our requests were met. The staff always try their very best here and are sometimes understaffed. Despite this, the food is always spot on and the pricing fair. Very happy to have chosen Zizzi?s for our NYE meal. Reliable and fun. Thanks Dylan!

Always enjoyable good foods. Although, on the last visit, I had noticed that the portions had shrunk down slightly across the board.I stopped going to Bella Italia as they had shrunk the portions incredibly, and so if Zizzi intends to follow suit- I will have to stop coming here which would be really sad.

We haven?t been to Zizzis in a long time & after our meal we both said we won?t be returning. The service was very slow. The edge of my stater was warm around the edges but cold on the middle. It was mushrooms on some sort of bread. The bread was really tough. My partner?s mains was sooo greasy. He felt ill when we got home & didn?t feel well throughout the night. All in all a very disappointing visit.

A fantastic evening, brilliant service, good food, perfect! We frequent the Zizzi in Marlow for lunch sometimes with friends because it's a halfway meeting point between us but hadn't been to the Aylesbury restaurant for a couple of years. We will be back very soon.

Good food but service can be slow. On one of our visits we had two people dining with birthday vouchers for a free meal, but the restaurant refused to accept both despite saying they could both be used when we booked.
